Chapter 52
(Lily’s POV)
Birds chirped somewhere above, their song drifting gently on the wind. A breeze kissed my skin, and I stirred, dizzy
I blinked my eyes open; trees, and the blue sky hovered me on the ground.
I turned to my side… and there he was, Zion.
I froze.
He lay beside me- bare chest rising and falling, long lashes resting against his cheeks as if nothing in the world could disturb his sleep. The sunlight filtered through the branches, painting golden strokes across his skin.
I sat up slowly, a dull ache between my thighs made me wince.
What happened? How am I here?
My body felt oddly warm, and sated. I could feel Ravena and Vaelith purring in pleasure.
A cape lay nearby, half–covered in leaves. I reached for it and wrapped it around my naked form before standing to my feet. The forest stretched endlessly around us. There were no sounds of celebration or music.
It was just the wind… and water.
I followed it. The sound led me to a wide river with mist hovering over the surface like and beyond it. I stood at the bank, my mind spinning.
The last thing I remembered… was a sharp metal pricking into my neck. A needle or syringe?
I turned back toward the space where Zion still lay, his body tangled in leaves and sunlight.
Did we make love?
Ravena and Vaelith suddenly went quiet inside me. Too quiet.
“What happened?” I whispered, not expecting an answer, but I got one.
“It wasn’t supposed to happen like that,” Ravena said softly.
“What wasn’t? Speak up!”
Vaelith hesitated, her voice edged with guilt. “I lost control.”
My chest tightened. “What do you mean you
Ost control?”
“Something took over,” she murmured. “Something ancient rose, Lily. I didn’t even realize I’d shifted until it was too late. I felt limitless…”
I clutched the cape tighter. “Oh no! We shifted in front of everyone; The King, Queen and the elders? ” I whispered.

Chapter 52
Tears welled up, hot and fast. “He vouched for me! And I… I ruined Zelda’s birthday. I proved the elders right.”
I sank to the ground and began to sob. My shoulders shook with the weight of everything. I shouldn’t have come to the palace. I didn’t belong here, and now I’d only added chaos to a night that was supposed to be beautiful.
I didn’t hear him approach.
But I felt his large hand resting gently on my shoulder.
Zion.
I didn’t want to look up, but I could feel his presence beside me. I turned my head slowly.
He was dressed only in a pair of ripped trousers, his hair‘ ruffled, his blue eyes scanning me like he needed to see all the pieces of my soul.
“You’re awake,” he said softly.
I looked away.
He didn’t speak again. Instead, he cupped my face, brushing my tears away with the pad of his thumb.
Something in me felt comforted. Pain and guilt were his eyes, but I just leaned forward and instinctively kissed him.
He stilled for a second, surprised. Then his hand slid around my waist, as he kissed me back gently, like he didn’t want to rush this moment.
He pulled away only to murmur against my lips, “We’ll talk after this…” then he swept me up effortlessly, carrying me toward the water.
I squealed. The river greeted us silently and wide. The mist curled around our bodies as we stepped in, the water wrapping around our ankles, then knees, then waists.
The cold made me shiver, until he pulled me close.
His hands moved slowly, tracing the curve of my back. He kissed me passionately again
His fingers tangled in my hair, and I melted into him. The water swirled gently around us, quieting every thought…
His mouth found my perked nipples as his fingers trailed down my thighs to find my aching core. He sucked my nipples as two long fingers pumped fast into me, causing me to moan and clench unto him tightly.
I gasped when his fingers slid off, and he placed me on him. He guided his hard length to my folds and seeped in roughly.
My toes curled as he pulled out and rammed into the hilt again. A bittersweet cry bubbled from my throat.
He picked up a fast pace and began f’ucking me with reckless abandon. My eyes rolled back from the pressure. It was hot, and fierce.
Our bodies and the resistance of water moved wildly… it was too much and I let out a scream.
But he wasn’t done.

Chapter 52
When he was done, I was sprawled at the river bank, wet and dizzy with his cum streaking down my thighs…
