7 Chapter 7
“Of course not.”
“There’s nothing there that I’m attached to anyway.”
“Wherever you are, that’s where I’ll be. This time, we’ll never be apart again!”
The company assigned us an independent little villa.
Except for the daily visits from specialists to check Dane’s physical condition and memory status, our life wasn’t much different from that of any other couple.
There was an empty plot in front of our house where we planted a field of tulips.
At sunset, we would sit on the porch admiring the flowers. It was beautiful.
Dane said it felt just like when we were studying abroad together back then.Over the years, I’ve consistently transmitted records to the company to perfect Dane’s memory.
I’ve also compiled those materials into books, which I often take out to read and review with him.
As for whether he knows he’s a clone, he does.
Lying in his arms, I asked,
“Do you think I’m too selfish?”
“After all, you were supposed to leave…”
Dane spoke honestly,
“When I first opened my eyes, I was reluctant to accept it.”

7 Chapter 7
“Because my memory was very short, probably only a year, and all I
could recall was a blur of liquid… I guess that was the culture tank that gave birth to me.”
“But as you gradually transferred your memories to my brain, I slowly gained more recollections.”
“We truly love each other deeply. I think even in heaven, I must have wished to reunite with you. This is my desire too.”
