Chapter 233
After bolung out of his room, Leon didn’t want to be alone–he was afraid Sienna might catch him again.
So, he rushed over to Joshua and Jamar’s rooms, knocked on their doors, and called them to join him in the garden.
Only after sitting down did Leon finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Joshua noticed the sweat beading on Leon’s forehead and how tense he looked.
Frowning, he asked, “Leon, what’s wrong? You look like you’ve just been chased by a ghost
Leon unscrewed a bottle of mineral water he had grabbed on the way out and took several big gulps before replying. “This was worse than being chased by a ghost.”
Just then. Frank’s voice rang from his phone.
Leon, are you okay? What the hell happened just now? We heard you almost agreed.”
The voice made Leon realize–he was still on a video call with Frank and Reece.
He pulled his phone out of his shirt pocket and turned the camera back toward himself.
“That was some seriously freaky shit. If I hadn’t experienced it myself, I wouldn’t believe it.”
Still looking shaken, he continued, “You guys saw and heard what happened after I walked into the room. No wonder she kept trying to get me to hold or support her–turns out she could use some kind of witchcraft the moment she touched me.
“When she grabbed my hand just now, she said she wanted half of my luck. I was resisting inside, but my mind went blank, and I could only think of giving her anything she wanted. I couldn’t stop myself from saying yes.
“But thank god I bought that talisman from Phoebe through Frank. Right before I could say the final word, I felt this burning heat on my chest, and it snapped me out of it immediately.”
He suddenly remembered the talisman and reached up to unbutton his collar, pulling out what was left of the red string.
As he touched it, black ash smeared onto his fingers.
“Look at this. The talisman activated and burned up completely to break Sienna’s spell. If I hadn’t run fast enough, who knows if she would’ve tried again.”
Before this, he had trusted Phoebe’s words but never fully grasped their significance since he hadn’t experienced anything firsthand.
Frank, looking unsurprised, said, “We could tell something was off with you. So it was really some kind of enchantment?”
Reece frowned. “She actually has that kind of ability?”
He had already seen a different side of Sienna today–completely different from the innocent and sweet girl she used to act like in front of them.
Not only was she dressed provocatively, but the things she said to Leon were downright nauseating.
Leon shook his head. “I don’t know if she has some special ability, but did any of you record the video?”
Frank responded, “I did. The moment you walked in and saw her lying there dressed like that, I knew something was off and hit record.”
Leon shot him an approving look. “Smart move. Send the video to the other group chat—I want Phoebe to take a look.”
He added, “And I’m not going back to my room tonight. I need to buy a couple more talismans from Phoebe.”
The talisman’s effectiveness was clear–he needed another one to feel safe.
Before, he thought Phoebe was overcharging him. A single talisman for 1.5 million dollars? That was insane.
But now, it felt worth every penny.
Frank patted the talisman on his own chest, feeling a surge of security. “This thing really works. Good thing I had the sense to buy one back then. You’re lucky you followed my lead–otherwise, you’d be out of luck by now.”
He sighed, “Your darling little sister really went straight for the kill–she actually wanted half of your luck.”
Back then, all the brothers had doted on Sienna.

Chapter 233
Whenever they went out, Leon would bring her gifts.
Whenever she was in trouble, they’d all rush to protect her.
And now, this was how she repaid them. What a joke.
Leon’s face darkened. “Exactly, Even though I’ve been keeping my guard up, I never did anything to hurt her. I loved and protected her for more than ten years, and this is what I get in return? It’s laughable.”
Half of his luck–she had demanded it without a second thought.
She didn’t even consider what might happen to him if he lost that much luck.
“She clearly holds a grudge against me,” he continued, his voice cold, “I see it now–she doesn’t remember kindness, only resentment,”
Frank scoffed. “She’s the kind of person who repays kindness with vengeance. She thought she deserved all the love and protection you gave her. The moment you took it away, she decided you were the villain.”
Then, he joked, “At least she left you half your luck. Maybe she wanted to fatten you up a little before harvesting more later.”
Leon shot him an exasperated look. “Shut up. You’re the one who’s getting fattened up.”
This bastard really had to bring up Phoebe’s ‘pig for slaughter‘ analogy.
“Enough nonsense,” Leon said. “Send the video to the group chat. I’m hanging up.”
Frank didn’t mess around when it came to serious matters. “Got it.”
After ending the call, he immediately sent the video.
Meanwhile, Joshua and Jamar were both staring at Leon.
Joshua asked, “Leon, what exactly happened?”
From the conversation just now, they had already pieced some things together.
Leon didn’t hide anything–he recounted everything that had happened in his room.
Once he finished, Frank’s video had already been uploaded to the group chat.
He played it for Joshua and Jamar.
When it ended, both of them shuddered.
Watching the video of Sienna’s sultry, seductive behavior was enough to make their skin crawl.
They had never expected her to be like this behind their backs.
Everything they had once thought they knew about her was shattered.
“So this is the real her,” Jamar said sarcastically. “She spent all these years pretending to be kind and innocent.”
Then, with a sneer, he added, “No wonder she joined the entertainment industry–her acting skills are top–notch.”
Joshua nodded. “Yeah. Just watching her expressions and gestures in the video was disturbing. I can’t believe we spent all these years protecting and spoiling someone like that.
“And that last part… that was definitely something supernatural. Leon almost fell for it.”
Before, when Sienna had tried to take luck from them, they had been skeptical about what Leon had said.
But now, there was no denying it.
They finally understood–and Sienna was terrifying.
Leon let out a cold laugh. “We were blind before.”
Joshua hesitated for a moment before asking. “Leon, do you think we might’ve been under some kind of spell! The way we spoiled her unconditionally–maybe it wasn’t just us being soft.”
Leon and Jamar exchanged glances. That actually made sense. Leon nodded. “That’s not impossible”
