Susan didn’t let me wait long.
<
She saw Tom as her only hope. To get him
away from Bethany, she went to work with
him every day.
When Tom worked a night shift, she slept on
a cot in his office. She told everyone that
Tom was being targeted by a home wrecker.
Then Susan overheard Tom on the phone with
Bethany while he was in the bathroom.
Susan went insane.
She and Carol stormed into Bethany’s office
with six other women and stripped her naked
in the middle of the street.
Then, they went to every one of Bethany’s
relatives and screamed that she was a home
wrecker who killed someone’s sister.
When I heard about everything Susan had
done, I burst out laughing.
It didn’t have a strong effect, but still made
me very happy.
Dave’s actions would be better.
Dave seemed to want to get to the bottom of
everything, leaving no stone unturned, so he
was slower than Susan.
But on the last three days of the one–month
waiting period, he finally started his revenge.
He was even more brutal than I expected. I
thought his only enemies were Bethany and
Paulie, but he broke into Bethany’s house and
killed her entire family: Bethany’s parents,
Bethany’s brother and sister–in–law, Bethany,
and Paulie.
Paulie was killed by cutting off his limbs,
bleeding him to death.
Bethany was killed by cutting out her organs,
cutting out her tongue.
The others were killed quickly.
That day, Tom was working at the hospital.
After killing Bethany’s family, Dave used
Bethany’s phone to send Tom a message.
[Honey, I made some dinner. Your mom is
here so I can’t go up, come down and get it.]
Tom looked at his sleeping mother and
quickly went downstairs.
In the dark, Tom smiled with anticipation.
“Bethany, Bethany, where are you?”
“You don’t deserve Carrie,”
Dave lunged at Tom with an axe.
Tom instinctively raised his hands to block
the blow. The axe cut off his hands.
“Ah!”
The screaming attracted the attention of the
hospital security guards. Tom’s face was
covered in blood.
Dave swung the axe again, hitting him in the
face.
The axe went into his skull, this time he didn’t
scream.
Susan screamed and fainted.
