After giving Easton a piece of her mind, Ellis felt much better and hung up without further ado.

The swift change in Easton’s demeanor left everyone in the room exchanging uneasy glances, none daring to make a sound that could annoy him further. Easton, managing to suppress his irritation, murmured, “Continue.”
With Easton signaling to proceed, the meeting went oras normal, but a tense atmosphere lingered.
Only when the meeting ended and Easton left the room did the air seem to clear, allowing everyone to
relax their tense nerves.
With Easton gone, the room felt naturally more at ease. A senior manager friendly with Taylor, pretending to be casual, asked. “Taylor, the company’s performance is still booming. Why does Mr. Hudson seem dissatisfied lately? Are we setting new annual goals?”
As Easton’s assistant, Taylor knew her responsibilities extended beyond mere office tasks to managing Easton’s personal affairs, and she was well aware of where his frustrations stemmed from.
