The four brothers quickly escaped after shifting the responsibility onto Ollie that day. As dinnertime approached, Lydia noticed that none of her sous had arrived, and her expression darkened.
Seizing the opportunity, Sienna subtly spoke against her four brothers before Lyelia. They mistreated her, ignoring her as if she didn’t exist. She deliberately kept her distance in response, only to find they seemed rather pleased with themselves

Now, trouble had arisen in Peter’s household, and Maria had been coming to her in tears almost daily. Maria’s concern for her was especially evident and deeply touched her.
Her grandmother often made pastries and secretly sent them to her, while her aunt and the others spoke to her with utmost deference, trying to win her favor. This treatment pleased her and somewhat eased her frustration from having to humble herself before Lydia.
Therefore, she wanted her brothers to contribute several million dollars to help Peter’s family; she subtly hinted at it–only for them to immediately make themselves scarce. Their reaction left her seething with frustration; none could take the hint.
After Sienna subtly stirred the situation, Lydia grew even more irritated. She picked up her phone and called her four sons, only to have each of them make excuses to avoid coming to dinner. Not only did they refuse, but they also took the opportunity to throw a few sarcastic remarks her way.
Their response made it seem as if she was the one at fault. They claimed that despite their efforts to be dutiful sons and

her for meals, she treated them as mere outlets for her frustration rather than as her children.
She constantly berated them as ungrateful, which, according to them, had deeply hurt their feelings. Since she insisted on seeing them that way, they might as well live up to the label. They were done catering to her.
Lydia was so infuriated that she nearly fainted. They truly are ungrateful! How could they say I was wrong to call them that?”
None of them were willing to have a meal with Lydia, yet they still dared to call themselves dutiful sons. Then, recalled the suggestion all four of them had made. Without hesitation, she called Ollie, instructing him to come and have dinner with her.
During her time away from the Jenkins family, her husband had been indifferent, never reaching out or showing concern. Her family, too, held resentment toward her. None of them had bothered to check on her or offer support since she left the Jenkins family.
Lydia had begun to feel some regret, but her pride prevented her from reaching out to reconcile, leaving the situation tense. With Ollie returning from a business trip, she hoped he could help her return home.
Ollie received Lydia’s call earlier and, after work, headed straight to the villa.
As soon as he entered, Ollie was greeted by a beaming Sienna. “Ollie, you’re here,” she said with a smile. After greeting him, she sweetly and attentively reached out to take the briefcase he was holding. “Mom is waiting for you in the dining room.”
Although Ollie was cautious around Sienna, he held no real resentment toward her. Recently, the wave of artists switching agencies had caused him considerable embarrassment.
Not only were the shareholders of Jenkins Entertainment dissatisfied with him, but he also heard that some of the higher- ups at the group had started to express concerns about his leadership.
On one hand, there was his infuriating biological sister, and on the other, his obedient and gentle adopted sister. He couldn’t help but think that Sienna was easier to deal with at least she was attentive and knew how to read the room. Phoebe, however, seemed to be growing more exasperated by the day.

He replied calmly and pleasantly, “Alright, I’ll go check on Mom in the dining room”
Seeing that Ollie’s attitude remained much the same as usual, Sienna let out a deep sigh of relief. She moved closer to him and quietly whispered. “Mom’s not in a good mood. The other four brothers upset her.“
Then, she subtly spoke against the other four brothers before Ollic. After hearing Sienna’s words, Ollie furrowed his brows. “Those four are becoming more and more outrageous, he muttered.
How could they say such insulting and sarcastic things to Mom? That’s too much, he thought.
Sienna said sweetly, “You’re right. Luckily, you’re here, Ollie. As they spoke, the two of them walked into the dining room.
When Lydia saw Ollic, her attitude was noticeably warmer than it had been with the others. She immediately pulled him in, showering him with caring words and inquiries about his well–being. Ollic, who had never been treated this way by his mother, was taken aback and slightly overwhelmed by the attention.
Lydia had unloaded her frustrations and complained about the other sons and Phoebe. Ollie could only offer comfort from the sidelines, hardly paying attention to the food once it had been served.
By the time he had finished calming Lydia, the dishes had turned cold. He realized that coming to have dinner had turned out to be a rather lonely experience.
After dinner, Ollie spent some time with Lydia. When he started feeling hungry again, he suggested returning to the Jenkins family. However, Lydia insisted that he stay the night.
Ollie inadvertently caught sight of Sienna’s bright, eager eyes and immediately declined Lydia’s offer. He thought, Staying over? What if Sienna has her eyes set on me?‘
Although he hadn’t personally experienced Sienna’s tactics, his issues with his younger brothers were still fresh. It was better to be cautious. Besides, he was genuinely afraid Lydia might get out of control with her complaints and constant bashing of the younger sons.
Lydia now looked at Ollie with more favor, especially since she needed his help, so she didn’t press the issue. However, Sienna was slightly disappointed–she had hoped for more time with Ollie. But she wasn’t in a hurry.
Since the other four brothers hadn’t come to have dinner with Lydia, Ollie would likely be the next to visit. Sienna knew she’d have plenty of opportunities to get closer to him.
That evening, Sienna received another call from her mother. She had no choice but to go to Lydia’s room, where she first offered a series of massages and spoke all sorts of flattering words.
After a while, she managed to find an excuse to say she needed to see a doctor, and from her mother’s hands, she successfully extracted several hundred thousand dollars.
Sienna’s smile quickly faded after walking out with the card in hand. After walking for a while, she couldn’t help but mutter under her breath, “After all that effort, several hundred thousand dollars is all I get? How stingy.”

Although Lydia appeared to treat her well on the surface, Sienna could always feel her guarded attitude. It made her uncomfortable and irritated. However, she still needed Lydia’s support. Otherwise, she would have followed the example of her four brothers and stopped catering to her.
Feeling irritated, Sienna went upstairs and returned to her room, unaware that a red dot was flickering on chandelier.
