I thought of when I was in high school, I

would see a woman that would look at me. It
wasn’t bad, she just wanted to look at me.
When I think about it, I felt like I had a face
that looks like the woman’s face.
So I did some digging and found where she
lived. I applied for a job at the coffee shop,
hoping to find her there.
My work paid off. One afternoon, I saw the
woman walking on the street.
I was ready to see her now!
Mom.
Just as I was about to follow, someone
stopped me.

“Sis? Is that you?”
“I’ve been looking for you! I can’t believe I
found you here.”
I freed my hand, how could she find me here?
I glanced at the window, it looked like I
couldn’t meet her today.
“Sorry, customers, I’m at work, if there’s
anything I can get for you, please let me
know.”
“Oh~”
Brittany Wilson was with a women that looked great. She gave me a look, “I heard that you were struggling, so I had to come and see it
myself.”
Brittany bit her lips, “Annie, don’t call her
that.”
Annie rolled her eyes, she waved her friends
over, then looked at me, “You’re a staff here,
it’s wrong if you don’t serve us?”
The manager went, “Of course.”
Then he pushed me, my leg was a lot better,
but it still hurt, I was about to fall down.
“hahaha….” Laughter was everywhere.
One of the people had a hat and mask, I
couldn’t see him, but I felt like I knew him.
“Woah, our Miss Carter’s leg, get her up,
what would Mr. and Mrs. Carter think?
The one that said this was in love with me,
but I didn’t like him.
“hahaha, didn’t you hear? The Carters don’t
like her anymore, the real Miss Carter is
Brittany.”
“Liam has a great set of eyes, and chose Brittany, you should be there to support her
at the wedding.”
My ‘sister‘ didn’t say anything, but let me get
tortured.
The manager protected me, he sent me to the
kitchen to help.
