Chapter II Taking Her Against Her Will
The interior of the car was cramped. Margot was caught off guard and fell backwards. She was dumbfounded. What is Halsey doing!
She placed her hands on Halsey’s chest, her beautiful black eyes filled with shock and fear. “W–what are
you doing?”
Halsey was extremely frustrated. Ever since Margot’s car accident, everything had been in a mess. He wanted to set things right.
“Helping you regain your memory,” he said in a cold voice. Then, he bent down to kiss her.
“No!” Margot was terrified. Is he crazy? We are out in the open. The car door isn’t close, and he wants to force himself on me. She knew he was a jerk, but she never expected him to reach new heights of jerkiness.

Amidst the chaos, Margot slapped Halsey’s face. After that, her face turned pale. This was the second time she had hit him. today.
He grew up in luxury. No one had probably hit him before. Margot was afraid he would strangle her in a fit of rage.
“1-1 didn’t do it on purpose. Y–you can’t do this. I said I don’t like you. Even if I regain my memory, I won’t like you. You’re so berce and scary, Margot said with a trembling voice.
The fear in her eyes stung Halsey’s heart. His breathing was heavy, and his blue eyes were icy and filled with dark emotions. At this moment, he regained his clarity.
He decided he was furious because they had yet to get a divorce and she was already flirting with other men. He could not stand for that
However, even though he had found an excuse, he was still unhappy. The way Margot looked at him was too unfamiliar.
In the past, whenever she looked at him, her eyes were bright and filled with love and gentleness. Now, there was nothing of the same in her eyes.
The atmosphere in the car grew tense. Wind blew in from outside, dispersing the ambiguous atmosphere.
Halsey got out of the car and looked down at her. He warned her coldly, “Margot, we’re not divorced yet. Control yourself. If any rumors that tarnish the Greene family’s reputation get out, I won’s Jet you off easily.”
With that, he turned around and left.
Margot heaved a huge sigh of relief. After tidying her shirt, she relaxed. She was really scared to death just now.
Margot sat up and looked up to see Maggie not far away. Maggie had a cigarette between her fingers and looked at her with narrowed eyes through the cigarette smoke.
Margot immediately pouted in grievance. “Maggie, you came out long ago, right? Why didn’t you save me?”
Maggie finished her cigarette and put it out. Then, she walked towards Margot. “I want to see if you’re acting in front of me or in front of him”

“Yes” Margot lowered her eyes slightly. Her tone was filled with disappointment. “Like his father, Robin likes that woman. more. Since that’s the case, I’ll give them what they want.”
