Chapter 10
That was quite sudden, Stella thought.
Did everyone just ignore a great beauty like her and check on a man instead?
What was so good about him?!
Seeing that the prince was alright, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
When Ivy saw the scene, a question mark popped up in her head.
Was this Logan’s charm?
Even Skylar was stunned. This…
That was a little different from how he thought things would unfold…
“Did you do that on purpose?” Henry had to seek justice for Logan today!
What would have happened if something that heavy had crashed into Logan?
Ivy was speechless. This script was indeed… quite outrageous.
“No, I just lost my footing.” Stella pretended to sob.
Ivy whispered to Skylar, “Is this a case of ‘a beloved out of reach?“”
Skylar had no words. He was clueless and dared not run his mouth.
Meanwhile, Stella finally got up on her own.
The siblings had no idea what to say, so they turned around and went to the main hall together.
Many inside the banquet hall started to gossip about Logan and Ivy.
As Logan took his seat, he could hear several women gathering around and discussing the matter of their divorce.
Logan narrowed his eyes as he heard them gossip.
Lady A said, “I think Ms. Gray must be sick of Mr. Clarke now. He even brought that hen, Stella Palmer today.
Logan had no idea what to say. “Ah, sh*t, I got misunderstood again.”
Lady B responded, “There’s news of women latching onto Mr. Clarke one after another. Although my own hubby is also fooling around outside, if his picture was ever taken in secret, he would definitely stay up and deal with it. Just look at how carefree Mr. Clarke is. Any woman would not be able to stand him, no?”
“He’s rich. There’ll be someone who can stand him, but that person will definitely not be Ms. Gray, Lady C said.
Lady D added, “In any case, Ms. Gray does have the Gray family to support her. Calling her the number one lady in the old city isn’t at all outrageous. She should do things that we dare not do, like get a divorce and then have several young lovers. Imagine how good her days will be. I’m so jealous of her!”
When the others heard this, they quickly echoed the sentiment and praised Ivy Gray for the divorce. They also talked about experiencing the life of Cleopatra.
Logan sighed helplessly.
Ivy’s words to him the other day were on his mind. Ivy had always acted according to his preference…
Yet, when he thought of the fact that she bore no affection toward him at all, it was so painful he could not breathe.
Henry sat nearby as he looked at Logan and noticed the latter’s rather lost expression. “Heh, so this is how it feels like to crash down hard after being held up high.”

Chapter 10
After he sighed, he whispered, “Poor sod,” before continuing, “but we should let him experience what it’s like to have your feelings
cheated on.”
He was sailing smoothly at work, yet in love, he was in a total slump.
Andrew raised his eyebrows. “Aren’t you his best bud?”
“It’s because I’m his best bud that I’m laughing at him.” From an outsider’s perspective, Logan had been too arrogant because he had gotten married at just 22 years old, unlike the rest of them, who still went about dating and fooling around.
It was because he was Logan’s best buddy that he hoped the latter would grow step by step. He did not know what the others were thinking, but as far as he was concerned, he felt that Logan was still growing. It would be nice if he ran into several more setbacks.
Suddenly, Logan stood up and walked toward Ivy, skipping past Skylar as he grabbed her wrist and dragged her away.
Skylar only glanced at them and did not say anything else. The corner of his mouth twitched into an arc, causing people to have many thoughts about it.
Were Ivy Gray and Logan Clarke not divorced? If they were, why did Skylar Gray not stop them?
Andrew was surprised at Skylar’s response too. Just as he wanted to ask Henry, the latter had to answer his phone, so he started to think about it himself.
Logan had dragged Ivy all the way to the entrance of the stairwell.
The voice–activated light turned on, but it still looked rather dim.
“I didn’t bring her along.” He lowered his gaze to meet Ivy’s as his hands still held hers tightly.
Ivy pulled her hand back. “Why are you so hysterical? We’re divorced. I don’t care how she actually got here.”
However, Stella did put up a show that she found quite interesting.
Logan stood still and opened his mouth, but he heard Ivy say, “Why are you explaining this to me? It’s not as if you like me, so we might as well call it quits on peaceful terms. Neither side owes each other.”
Neither side owed each other?
Logan looked at her and asked, “Can I offset what I owe you with what you owe me?”
“And what do I owe you?” Ivy was stunned for a moment. He did not like her, so it would not be because of her trick on him, right? Logan pondered for a moment. Tricking him was not a serious matter?
“I know that I tricked you for the divorce, and you’re not happy about it. But over the past three years, you have been totally clueless about certain things. In any case, I really wanted the divorce. We’re not right for each other, and you performed very poorly.”
After Ivy said her piece and attempted to leave, Logan quickly took a step forward to grab her wrist, but she swiftly avoided it.
Logan missed his footing and immediately fell down the stairs.
Ivy’s eyes widened.
“Sh*t, I didn’t just cause him to fall to his death, right?”
He was everyone’s precious little prince.
She looked around to see if there was any surveillance camera nearby.
She was a helpful person. Even if he was her ex–husband, she still would not see him fall to his death at the bottom of the staircase.
She quickly took out her phone and turned on the camera to start recording. She then lifted her skirt and ran down the staircase after Logan as she shouted, “Hey, don’t you die on me! If you dare punk me like this, I’ll break your bones this instant!”

Chapter 10
Logan was speechless. He had no idea what just happened, but he felt terrible right now.
When Henry came back from his call, Andrew immediately told him what happened.
Henry responded almost machine–like, “Did you just say… that Skylar didn’t stop Logie from taking Ivy away?”
“Right, he was smiling casually too.” Andrew nodded as he pointed at Skylar. “Just like that.”
Henry turned his head almost automatically toward Skylar, and the latter looked at him with a very weird smile.
Henry was at a loss for words. That smile… It looked rather familiar… Was that not the smile of excitement he showed when he fought the last time? He was all too familiar with it.
It then dawned upon him as he hissed. “Sh*t!”
“If I’m not wrong, Ivy’s going to beat Logan to death and probably break his ribs in the process…” As soon as he said that, he and Andrew immediately ran toward the staircase and ascended it.
Skylar laughed as he got up to follow them. He wanted to see how Ivy would beat Logan up.
The three of them appeared at the entrance of the stairwell together and saw someone rolling down from above amid the clopping of high heels. Of course, Ivy’s voice could be heard as well. “Hey! Stop rolling so fast, I can’t catch you!”
Henry rooted to the spot. As Skylar saw the same, he quickly stepped forward and blocked Logan’s fall, fearing that the latter might really die.
Ivy was relieved as she came down with her high heels. “I’m out of gas.”
Henry hid quietly behind Andrew. “Goodness, the Lord preserve me, this woman is brutal.”
Ivy caught a glimpse of Henry looking at her from behind Andrew with fear in his eyes. Her violent temper erupted. “What are you looking at? Want me to gouge your eyes out?”
Henry immediately pulled his gaze back. Help! He dared not look at Ivy again. Nay, he dared not look at her at all from now on. He lowered his head and looked at Logan before pulling him up from the ground.
“Logie, you alright?” He felt sorry for Logan.
Logan gritted his teeth and stood up calmly. “I’m fine.”
