Chapter 12
“He’s really something. The way his mind works is different from us normal people. Sure enough, he was a straight–up retard.
“I don’t want it anymore. What rotten luck!” Ivy leaned back in her chair, feeling, extremely upset. “F*ck you, Logan Clarke.”
Skylar also stopped bidding and sneered at Logan who was sitting opposite him.
Logan noticed that he had stopped bidding and the expressions on the faces of both siblings looked rather pissed. He then belatedly realized that his intentions had been misunderstood once again.
No… He had not done it on purpose. QAQ
“Logan, you straight up look like you’re going against them.” Henry sighed as he looked at Logan’s expression. He looked like someone owed him tons of money.
“I intended to gift it to Ivy.” Simply because she liked it.
The expression of a caveman appeared on Henry’s face as he gradually acted stupidly. “Oopa woopa!”
Logan was confused.
“Wake up. Both of you are divorced, plus she doesn’t want to see you at all.” He paused for a moment before continuing, “It’s not just her. Her entire family doesn’t want to see you.”
Logan was speechless. Shut up, will you?!
Andrew patted his shoulders. “Chin up, bud. Tomorrow will be miserable as well.”
Logan was even more speechless. “F*ck off, all of you!”
Just as they spoke, Ivy and Skylar suddenly got up and left without even looking back, They just left a cheque in the donation box.
The cheque was about $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 in value.
Logan simply watched as they left,
“Bro, shall we leave?” Henry asked. After all, Logan had just been discharged from the hospital and he had been drinking heavily. On top of that, he had rolled down the staircase today. Henry was afraid that Logan might not live past thirty.
In the end, Logan and the others left as well, and the three of them each put a cheque into the donation box. Each cheque was worth $10,000,000.
They took the necklace they had won along as well.
Just as they got out of the banquet hall, Logan saw Ivy and Skylar’s car speed past him.
They had left.
Suddenly, Henry touched his clothes, and Andrew immediately let out an audible “F*ck me!”
Logan looked down and saw a patch of red on the left side of his white shirt.
Henry looked at him in shock. “Do you not know pain?”
“If I don’t see it… no. But now that I’ve seen it, it really hurts. Logan suddenly became weak.
Both Henry and Andrew were speechless.
They immediately bundled him into the car and rushed him to the hospital.
While in the car, Logan suddenly said, “Seems like we’ve forgotten something?”
“What’s wrong? Having a bout of amnesia now?” Henry laughed with Andrew after saying that.

Although Logan was wounded, it did not prevent them from taking the mickey out of him.
Andrew’s laughter stopped abruptly. “It does seem like we’ve forgotten something.”
Henry went, “Hmm?”
“Oh, we’ve forgotten about Stella,” Andrew said calmly.
“She’s not crippled, right? Can’t she walk? Does she need us to carry her? She already got Logan to send her there, and now she’s expecting a lift home as well?” Henry was apoplectic as soon as he opened his mouth.
“It seems like you have something against Stella?” Andrew smiled.
Henry pondered for a bit. “I just can’t seem to like her.” As he said that, he turned to Logan. “Right, Logan?”
Logan was speechless.
“The hell are you guys on about? You know I’m hurting, right? I’m feeling rather sh*t now.” If it were not for his pain, he would have beaten both Henry and Andrew up!
“Best buds, my foot.”
Henry coughed and immediately floored the accelerator.

The moment the doctor saw Logan’s condition, he asked while treating his wounds, “Have you gone to war or something?”
With a suppressed smile, Andrew said, “He missed his step and rolled down the staircase. He could still stand up earlier, so it shouldn’t be a big deal… right?”
He was no doctor. There was no way he could be sure.
The doctor’s expression changed. “He rolled down the staircase?”
“Yeah.” Logan could no longer muster up a smile.
Suddenly, he recalled the scene of Ivy lifting her skirt with a phone in hand and chasing after him in high heels down the staircase. It was rather cute.
Suddenly, a smile appeared on his face, and even his gaze softened.
When the few of them saw him smiling, all of them went silent.
“I think there’s something wrong with him. Maybe he’s screwed up in the head or something. Doc, give him a brain scan.” Henry felt the doctor’s coat nervously.
Logan was the Clarkes‘ only son. He could not afford to have dementia.
“Get lost.” Logan’s expression turned gloomy again.
Immediately, they heaved a sigh of relief. “He still knows how to tell us to get lost. He’s fine.”
“Do you feel any pain in your bones?” the doctor asked.
“My left hand hurts.” He was hurting all over in any case.
The doctor took him for an X–ray, and there was a bit of bone fracture.
“It’s no big deal. He even took a knife stab before. How can a mere fracture stump the great Mr. Clarke.” The doctor took a look at the X- ray and said to Logan.
Logan was speechless.
The doctor was a family friend, and Edward Land was his name. He was about four to five years older than them. He might have looked extremely proper, but in reality, he was no different from their clique.

“You should rest in the hospital for a few more days.” Edward glanced at Logan. “Do you still have any unfulfilled wishes?”
Everyone went, “Huh? Do you realize what you’ve just said?”
Edward raised his eyebrows. “Seeing how dejected he is, I’m just asking what’s wrong?”
“I want to see my wife,” he said after a period of silence.
“I think you should wash up and go to bed.” Edward had heard the news about Logan and Ivy’s divorce as well. However, what surprised him was, why did Logan agree to the divorce, and why did Ivy divorce him.
Only Logan was left in the ward as all three of them went out.
As soon as Edward stepped out of the ward, he asked the other two, “How did Logan end up agreeing to the divorce?”
In the end, they told him what had happened, and Edward immediately grasped two important points. First, Ivy’s character had been a charade, and second, Logan had been tricked into the divorce.
Edward was flabbergasted.
Ivy sure was something.
He then nodded. “Serves Logan right.”
“You think so? We think so too,” Henry said with a stifled laugh.
After Ivy and Skylar left the banquet, Skylar took her to the jewelry store and bought her a necklace.
She could not help but sigh at the fact that someone would treat her well, remember everything that she wanted, and deliver it to her without any hesitation even if the person was her little brother.
She had just completed her skincare routine after her shower when her phone on the bed rang.
It was Logan’s number. She did not answer.
A moment later, she received a message from him. [I’m in the hospital. Bone fracture.]
Ivy went, “Errr…”
She called back, thinking it had probably been caused by the fall down the stairs.
Her call was answered in almost mere seconds.
Ivy’s call connected, but she had no idea what to say, so she waited for him to speak instead.
“Ivy?” Logan’s voice was extremely gentle.
When she heard his voice, she felt very indifferent.
“How are you?” she asked.
