Chapter 4
Zach was still feeding Melanie cake with a spoon when the police came to the hospital.
Melanie saw me first. She pushed Zach and whispered, “Zach, Winona is here.”
“Impossible. I beat her this morning. She won’t dare to come and make trouble. Besides, she doesn’t know where I am.”
Zach was very confident. “Come on, have another bite.”
I couldn’t help laughing out loud and applauding their touching love. “Officer, he admitted that he beat me.
Η
Zach turned his head in disbelief after hearing my voice. “Winona, do you have to call the police for a family dispute?”
“Winona, it’s all my fault. How will Zach live like this? It’s all my fault. I shouldn’t have expected this child. Winona, you can blame me. Please let Zach go!”
Melanie seemed to want to kneel on me, but she didn’t even get off the bed. Her pretending had Zach in her control.
“Winona, are you crazy? Melanie is pregnant and cannot be provoked, and you brought the police to the hospital? Officer, my wife and I have a little misunderstanding. No need to trouble you. We can solve it ourselves.” Zach scolded me while bowing

to the police.

He stretched out his hand to pull me over, but was stopped by the police. “Mr. Collins, you need to come with us.”
There were many patients watching outside the ward, most of whom were pregnant women. They quickly figured out the situation.
“This man comes here every day. I thought he was a good man. But it’s not his wife he’s taking care of.”
“You can’t judge a person by appearance. He looks gentle, but he is a domestic violence man.”
“I heard that his wife had a miscarriage.caused by his mistress. It’s disgusting.”
Melanie stopped crying. She took a few quick steps and
slammed the door of the ward. The moment she turned around, she looked pitiful again.
“Winona, don’t quarrel with Zach for me. Zach and my husband were good friends. I just want a child who looks most like my husband. Winona, we are both women. Why are you making. things difficult for me?”
Zach pulled Melanie up with a look of pity. After comforting her, he walked up to me indignantly and said righteously, “I admit my mistakes and accept the punishment. If you have anything, come to me. Melanie is innocent.”
Chapter 4
I really wanted to cry for their touching love.
Zach was taken away. Under the pressure of the police, he apologized to me and wrote a letter of commitment, promising not to hit me again in the future.
After the police left, Zach took Melanie’s hand and looked at me with disgust.
“Winona, you are too unreasonable. If Melanie gets hurt because of this, can you afford the responsibility?”
I took out the divorce agreement to interrupt him. “I can’t. So, for the precious baby in Melanie’s belly, please sign it.”
