Recalling everything from my past life, I wanted nothing more than to tear these two people apart limb by limb.
But I held back. Now wasn’t the time to drop the mask.
I smiled as I responded to Riley’s weight loss demand.
“Don’t worry, I’ll definitely lose the weight!”
Riley asked doubtfully, “Really?”
I nodded. “Really!”
Seeing how obedient and eager I was, Riley said gently, “Rose, you’re such a good girl. I can’t wait to see you at 100 pounds. You’ll be my most beautiful bride!”
As Riley spoke, he leaned in to kiss me.
Just as his lips were about to touch mine, I felt a hostile gaze.
I glanced sideways and caught the jealousy in Kate’s eyes, her hands clenched into tight fists at her sides.
Naturally, Kate couldn’t stand seeing Riley and me being intimate. She quickly masked her jealousy and rushed forward to separate us.

Then she pressed close to Riley’s arm, batting her eyes as she pouted, “Riley, stop showing off your love in front of me, a single person. If you keep being all lovey–dovey with my Rose, I’m going to get jealous of you.”
Unfortunately, Riley had zero interest in Kate, who weighed 130 pounds and stood only 5 feet tall. He directly dodged her advance.
Kate was displeased, but she didn’t blame Riley. Instead, she turned her anger toward me.
She pretended to joke, “Rose is such a foodie. Can you really succeed at losing weight? Rose, it would be so embarrassing if you got even fatter!”
Upon hearing this, Riley also cast a doubtful look my way.
Both of them stared at me with their own hidden agendas.
Under their intense scrutiny, I smiled and nodded.
“Don’t worry, I definitely won’t disappoint you! I promise to lose weight to exactly what you want!”
After saying this, right in front of Riley and Kate, I pulled out my phone and signed up for a weight loss training program.
Now both their eyes lit up, absolutely thrilled.

Riley excitedly held up his phone and started making demands.
“Rose, lose weight according to this influencer’s figure. You must have S–curves just like her. My happiness depends on you!”
Kate also crowded in, chattering nonstop.
“Rose, you need to stay steady at 100 pounds. 100 pounds is the perfect weight–not even one pound more!”
Both of them were smugly satisfied.
Looking at their greedy, ugly faces, I sneered inwardly.
Riley couldn’t get the sexy female influencer online, so he set his sights on me, trying to remake me.
Kate, in order to steal everything from me, was using me as a stepping stone.
Having grown up in an orphanage, I had once wholeheartedly considered these two the only family I had in this lifetime.
Riley was my boyfriend of three years, Kate was my best friend. In the end, they conspired together to scheme against me, betray me, and even caused my death.
This time, I’m going to make both of them pay the price!
