1 sighed!
I just needed to be careful around them, that’s it. They were, after all, our warrior trainers, and even though they had asked me to treat them as I would my other professors here at the academy, they were still our princes, our future kings and, no matter how much they asked, that fact. couldn’t be overshadowed. With that thought in mind, I turned around and went towards mine and Alana’s dorm. She had a lot of explaining to do, a heads up that she was the prince, hell a hint that she knew the trainers would have been appreciated. I tried thinking back to see if I had gushed over her brothers, thankfully I didn’t. That would have been embracing.
Going through security and up the elevator, I swiped my key card, unlocked the bilateral lock, and stepped into our dorm room. The VIP dorms were like mini luxury apartments. Alana and I had a large living and dining room combined with a u–shaped black leather sofa that fit around ten people facing a seventy–inch flatscreen TV with a cute brown faux fur rug in the middle on the hardwood floors in the living room. We also had a rectangled dining table with eight chairs around. it, which, may I add, was extra as hell. Why, in the name of the goddess, would two she–wolves need eight dining chairs? The kitchen was fully stocked and equipped with the latest stainless steel appliances and marble countertops.
All in all, it screamed rich spoilt brat domain, with a touch of classy and cozy. The best part was the person I was sharing it with, who was now standing in the living room looking at me with skeptical eyes and a sheepish smile on her face. I closed the door, took off the five–inch high heels that were killing my feet throughout the party, and looked at Alana with my arms folded across my chest and an eyebrow raised and

said.
“You had better start talking, missy, about why you failed to mention you were Princess Alana Winchester, sole princess of the wolf kingdom? And, the so–called surprise twin warrior trainers were none. other than your older brothers, the twin princes of the kingdom.” I said, waving my hands in the air like a mad woman.
She sighed.
Rubbed her foot up and down on the brown fur carpet, and said.
“I’m sorry, Lyla. I told you earlier, I was hurt by the so–called friends I made at the castle. Even though I knew you weren’t like them, I couldn’t help but be cautious. I didn’t want to be used as a means to get to my brothers. I am my own person and wanted to be known as Alana, not the little sister to the twin princes or sole princess Alana.” She said. meekly.
You could hear the emotions in her words oozing out. Every word dripped honesty, and as I had told myself earlier, I would rather have one real friend than a dozen fake was absolutely true. She was just treading lightly because of her experience. She and I were the same in a way, though my situation was different from hers, but we both had
trust issues.
Sighing!
I went up and hugged her.
She was shocked, hell, I was shocked. After what happened, I hardly let anyone other than my brothers and Jax come this close to me, but with Alana, you could sense this calming vibe coming from her, as if her presence could give you peace. After a few seconds, she wrapped her arms around me and apologized again. Pulling back, I looked at her
and smiled.

“It’s alright, I understand. We’re somewhat similar in that regard when
it comes to trusting others. Just no more surprises. Next time, just right of the bat, hit it on me.” I chuckled.
She laughed and nodded.
We both went to change out of dresses and said to meet up in the living room to watch a movie in half an hour. Even though I was a bit tired and the fact that I couldn’t get the twins and their kiss out of my mind, I wanted to spend some time with Alana and get to know her a bit more. Plus, I wanted to ask why the hell were the princes teaching at the academy, like didn’t they have princely duties to do like cut ribbons and all that shit. Why spend time with a bunch of snot–nosed egoist teenagers, teaching them how to throw punches and all. Well, the last part was exaggerated. Everyone knew the warriors that graduated from Maxwell Academy were known to be killing machines: assassins. The cream of the lot were recruited directly into the royal army, which was impossible until you were born with the skill. So it didn’t make sense for them to be here when they could have anyone from the army come in and teach us.
