Chapter 41 Stage Performance
A strong beam of light suddenly fell from the zenith, hitting the center of the stage with precision.
The rest of the place was pitch black, the audience seats like sinking into the depths of the night, and on the stage stood a lonely figure.
The curtain slowly rose, revealing a man dressed in a cool black leather jacket, with black Martin boots making a steady sound on the wooden stage floor.
She wore dark sunglasses, lowered her head, the sunglasses covering half of her face, making it almost impossible to see her expression, only the cold lips exposed, she seemed like a female warrior from underground.
The wavy long hair was slightly messy, but exuded a rebellious aura.
She sat behind a set of drums, drumsticks crossed and resting on her lap, as still as a statue.
At the first beat on the drum kit, Fiorella deftly pushed her sunglasses up to the top of her head. The heavy smoky eye makeup was swept along her eye sockets as she smirked, ignoring the scattered murmurs from the audience below.
“Hahaha, is she here to make jokes?”
“Is this the punk style you’re going for? Your smoky eye makeup is almost reaching your temples, isn’t it?”
“Isn’t this a condolence performance? I thought she was here to attend a
concert.”
Chapter 41 Stage Performance
The sneering laughter from the audience was continuous, especially Jamila, who was on the verge of bursting into laughter.
While the discussion was still ongoing, Fiorella dropped the first beat.
She suddenly lifted the drumstick, the first strike as heavy as thunder, resounding throughout the venue!
The prelude rhythm of “Believer” exploded like a loud slap in the face, causing everyone to instantly quiet down.
The bass drum thundered like thunder, and the military drum sounded on the ground.
s were rich :
Her rhythm was tight, the layers, like warhorses rushing on the battlefield, overwhelming.
The camera–like lights focused on her agile and flying wrists, and the drumsticks seemed to be electrified, each strike accurately piercing into
the heart.
She had no extra expression, just focused, stern, putting all her effort into each move, as if pounding on the chest of fate.
No one knew who started it, but the deep applause came from the front
TOW.
Until that person started clapping, the crowd remained immersed in that emotion. In the darkness, numerous hands were raised, all applauding for the performer.
The applause was so grand, surpassing anyone who had performed before!
“What was her name again?”
“It seems like… Fiorella?”
Chapter 41 Stage Performance
“Wow, she’s amazing! I thought she only knew sports, but I didn’t expect her to also play the drums?”
“The drumming just now was so lit!”
“Yes! And the singing was also very nice!”
Not only did the students praise each other, but the soldiers were also very excited.
“I thought the performance was just at a child’s level and didn’t have high hopes, but this classmate turned out to be amazing!”
“Isn’t the most important thing that she chose the right songs? This is a condolence performance, why sing love songs? She should sing these very inspiring songs! After listening to the songs just now, I was really fired up!”
“I really want to know what song she just played?”
“Believer. It’s a very powerful song.”
