My Dead Sister Returned 9
Chapter9
“Mr. Krause, take me to the servants’ quarters.”
The air froze for a few seconds.
Jayvion’s handsome face went through a series of expressions.
“You asked for this.”
In the end, he shot Yesenia a furious glare and wheeled himself straight upstairs.
Rohan let out a huge sigh of relief and quickly motioned for the servants to prepare a new room.
“Ms. Mosley, Mr. Wyatt may appear cold, but he has a soft heart. He must have gotten your intentions wrong. Given time, I believe he’ll come to see your true nature.”
Yesenia’s lips curled slightly at hearing Rohan speak on Jayvion’s behalf.
“I know what kind of person he is.”
Her words carried hidden meanings.
Rohan instinctively glanced at Yesenia. He failed to read her eyes.
He couldn’t help but ask, “Ms. Mosley, have you met Mr. Wyatt before?”
Yesenia didn’t answer directly. Instead, she asked, “Aren’t you afraid I’m a bad person? That I’m approaching Jayvion with ill intentions?”
Rohan simply replied, “Before the accident, many women tried every possible way to get close to him. But now… that doesn’t happen anymore.”
The regret and sadness in his tone were impossible to hide.
Yesenia paused. “He will recover.”
Rohan looked at her, surprised by the firmness on her face. Somehow, it gave him hope.
Perhaps it was fate. Ms. Mosley might be the one who could save Jayvion.
Rohan led Yesenia to the servants’ quarters. She gave the room a quick glance. It was bigger and more nicely furnished than the one she’d had with the Mosley family.
Was it that the Mosleys were too stingy, or the Wyatts simply too rich?
Rohan coughed. “The servants’ rooms are full, so we’re temporarily using a guest room tonight.”
Yesenia chuckled. “Thank you, Mr. Krause.”
“You’re welcome. Have a good rest, Ms. Mosley. ‘Work’ starts at seven sharp tomorrow.”
“Alright.”

After Yesenia left, the entire Mosley household began comforting Sylvia, afraid she might blame herself and get upset.
Sylvia spent the night in “melancholy” and ultimately turned down Belinda’s offer to stay with her.
Once the door closed, her face no longer looked upset.
She immediately made a video call.
On the other end, Nielsen Carson and Jennifer Gardner were on the bed, counting the gifts they’d received that evening. Seeing their precious daughter call, Jennifer was overjoyed.
“Sylvia, do you know how much we got in gifts tonight? Over 600 thousand!”
Sylvia sneered. When dealing with her biological parents, all gentleness and kindness vanished. What was left was pure contempt and malice.
“Only 600 thousand? What’s there to be happy about? The necklace Vicente gave me alone is worth a million.”
How ignorant!
She demanded, “Didn’t we agree that tonight was the night we’d ruin Yesenia’s reputation and force her to agree to donate a kidney? What kind of useless fool did you hire? They couldn’t even handle a woman!”
Just thinking about that disgusting man’s sleazy grin and vulgar words made Sylvia wanna throw up.
Jennifer was just as furious. “That little tramp! What could she possibly have? Just dumb luck!”
Hearing that, Sylvia exploded.
“Right, right, Yesenia’s lucky. Heaven’s favorite. She gets everything everyone dreams of without lifting a finger, while I’m stuck with this cursed life, doomed to failure no matter how hard I try. Even when I buy antiques, I end up with fakes. I’m nothing but a damn fool!”
“What’s going on?” Nielsen frowned. “Antique… You mean the one you bought for Gilberto?”
Sylvia’s eyes reddened. In front of the Mosley family, she acted pitifully and wronged. Yet now, she was openly vicious and ferocious.
“It’s all because of Yesenia! If she hadn’t come back, none of this mess would’ve happened!”
Seeing her daughter like this, Jennifer was worried she might do something rash and couldn’t help but remind her.
“But if it weren’t for Yesenia, we wouldn’t have what we have today…”
Sylvia glared at her, furious. “Of course I know that!”
From a young age, Sylvia had always known she was more unfortunate than others.
But it didn’t matter. She was the precious heiress of the Mosley family, adored by all. She could have whatever she wanted effortlessly.
So what if she wasn’t born with good luck? She was born into wealth and privilege! She was envied by countless others.
But the illusion was shattered on the eve of Vicente’s twelfth birthday.
Nielsen and Jennifer found her and told her they were her real parents. She wasn’t a Mosley at all. Their current daughter, Yesenia, was the true heiress of the Mosley family.
They said that Sylvia was born to be a jinx while Yesenia was meant to bring good luck.
That was why they had swapped the babies at the maternity center.
Sylvia didn’t believe them at all. She refused to accept it and ignored them completely.
But at the time, she was also scared. She knew she’d always been arrogant and domineering, relying on her family’s love. Her older brothers all gave in to her just because she was the little sister.
If they found out she wasn’t their real sister, would they still spoil her and indulge her?
So Sylvia racked her brains and gave Vicente an unforgettable gift for his birthday.
She didn’t expect that while she was standing on the beach with her hands on her hips, watching Vicente being moved to tears, a wave would suddenly sweep her away.
When she woke up in the hospital, dazed and weak, she saw Nielsen secretly slip a tooth into her palm while the Mosleys weren’t looking.
“This is Yesenia’s baby tooth. If you want to survive, you must keep it with you.”
Sylvia didn’t believe his nonsense at all and wanted to throw the filthy tooth away, but she was burning up with fever, barely clinging to life, and had no strength left.
Yet by the next day, she had miraculously recovered.
From then on, Sylvia knew that her fate was truly tied to Yesenia’s.
Thinking of this, Sylvia took a deep breath. “Yesenia has cut ties with the Mosley family. You tricked them into finding her yet it was all for nothing.”
“What?” Both of them were stunned. “That crazy girl? She walked away from the Mosleys’ good life and still wants to come back?”
Sylvia rolled her eyes and sneered. “She doesn’t even want the Mosley family anymore. You think she cares about the Carson family?”
Jennifer gave an awkward bitter laugh.
“She somehow met a wealthy businessman,” Sylvia said. “A Maybach came to pick her up today.”
“Could it be that vulgar boss she’s clinging to?”
Sylvia was irritated. “How would I know? Anyway, she was acting completely different today. She called out everyone in the Mosley family and left with a letter of severance… Forget your plan. I don’t want her kidney anymore. She has nothing to do with the Mosleys now. No one’s going to fight me for anything.”
“No way!” Nielsen warned. “Even without Yesenia, you’re still not the Mosleys’ biological daughter. It’s all out in the open now. Do you think things will be the same as before?”
He stared at her coldly. “Yesenia’s kidney is a must.”
