My Dead Sister Returned 10

My Dead Sister Returned 10
Chapter10
Jayvion opened his eyes just in time to see Yesenia quickly pulling back the feather duster.
He was speechless.
Woken up, Jayvion growled through gritted teeth, “Yesenia!”
Yesenia blinked innocently, maintaining a cautious arm’s length from the bed.
Where did he pick up that nasty habit of grabbing throats?
Her gaze lingered on his face, which was strikingly handsome even though it looked sleepy.
He was truly blessed.
Yesenia said calmly, “Mr. Wyatt, you don’t need to shout. I can hear you.”
Jayvion said with a poker face, “Who allowed you to come in?”
“It was you.” Yesenia blinked. “Didn’t you ask me to be your exclusive maid and wait on you? My job is to take care of you. My working hours start from 7 am. I gotta come here on time.”
Jayvion narrowed his eyes and stared at her with piercing coldness.
After a beat, he sneered.
“I have to admit you’re bolder than those women.”
She knew he was mocking her.
He asked her to be his maid just to beat her off, but she agreed without any protest.
Yesenia’s smile was unshaken, and she calmly countered, “Of course, I’m different from them. I’m here to compensate you, Mr. Wyatt.”
She deliberately stressed the word ‘compensate’.
Just as expected, Jayvion’s strikingly handsome face darkened completely.
She thought he would ask her to get out, but…
“What are you waiting for? Go to work.”
Yesenia was taken aback. “What am I supposed to do?”
Jayvion cast her a sidelong glance. “Don’t you know what you should do as a maid?”
She had no idea.
She came to annoy him. What did Rohan say before she entered the room?
Not her fault, really. She offered to heal his legs out of goodwill, and this bastard dared to make her a maid?
Time to teach him a good lesson.
Her gaze landed on the neatly folded clothes at the foot of the bed. Yesenia had an idea. “Mr. Wyatt, please change first.”
As she spoke, she threw back his blanket.
It was so sudden that Jayvion forgot to stop her.
“You!”
Yesenia noticed at a glance the unmistakable physical reaction tenting the sheets. She subconsciously frowned and muttered, “No wonder it hurt so much last time…”
Jayvion snatched back the blanket and shouted ferociously, “Get out.”
That was what she’d been waiting for.
Yesenia left obediently. Emanuel glanced at her and hurried into the room.
Rohan asked with concern, “Ms. Mosley, is everything okay?”
Yesenia nodded. “I’m okay. Rohan, don’t worry about me.”
Rohan quietly added, “Ms. Mosley, I was asking if Mr. Wyatt is okay.”
“Well, he’s fine. Just some morning temper, no big deal.”
But was it really? That roar almost shattered the door just now.
Since the accident, Jayvion had been brooding. Even if he was furious, he didn’t show it.
This was the first time Johan had seen Jayvion so robust.
He thought Yesenia was indeed unusual.
After a while, Emanuel came out of the room and said to Yesenia, “Prepare a breakfast dish with onions for Mr. Wyatt.”
Yesenia said quickly, “No problem.”
Emanuel said to Rohan, “She has to make breakfast alone. No one is to help her.”
Yesenia raised her eyebrow and glanced at the room.
What a vindictive man.
Half an hour later, Jayvion got to the dining room in dark blue casual clothes.
He expected to see Yesenia crying from cutting onions and begging him to stop, but there she was, calmly standing at the table.
At the sight of him, she smiled brightly at him, her eyes curving like crescent moons. The little red dot under her eye stood out clearly, impossible to miss.
Jayvion’s handsome eyebrows knitted slowly.
He went to the table. Rohan removed the cover, revealing a plate of hot French onion soup. The wonderful smell permeated the room.
Jayvion looked at Yesenia suspiciously. “Did you make it?”
She nodded. “Yes.”
Jayvion stared at the soup motionless, and Yesenia urged, “Mr. Wyatt, why don’t you taste it?”
Jayvion glanced at her and picked up the spoon, taking a sip gracefully.
He thought this dish just looked good, but…
He took another three sips.
Sensing Yesenia’s gaze on him, Jayvion paused and said, “Off you go.”
Yesenia raised her eyebrow and said, “Okay. Call me if you need me.”
Clasping her hands behind her back, she sauntered away.
Jayvion glanced at Rohan, who got what he meant. “Mr. Wyatt, Ms. Mosley made this dish. She was alone in the kitchen, and no one went inside to help her.
“Isn’t Ms. Mosley good at cooking?”
“It’s not impressing.”
Although Jayvion said so, he didn’t stop tasting the soup.
Rohan looked at him with an affectionate smile.
At this moment, Harrison came back from outside. “Jayvion, why are you alone?”
He asked Rohan nervously, “Where is my future sister-in-law?”
He went away to pursue love for one night, and Yesenia was thrown out?
“Mr. Harrison, Ms. Mosley has just made breakfast for Mr. Jayvion. She is resting now.”
Harrison’s eyes lit up. He dashed up to Jayvion and wished to thrust his head into the plate. “She made you breakfast? Jayvion, you’re such a lucky guy.”
Jayvion ignored him.
Harrison restrained himself and plopped onto the chair next to Jayvion, his playful smile fading.
Jayvion said calmly, “Do you know that now?”
Harrison nodded. “Wren canceled the cooperation with the Mosley family overnight. Our people lost track of him.”
He was depressed. His new hope was shattered.
“By the way, what happened to the Mosley family? Last night not only Wren abandoned them but their cooperation with GeekFlux Group was also suddenly called off. A few months ago when they signed the contract, they bragged about it wherever they went, and the whole city knew they were going to cooperate with the fast-rising Emerging Group. Now that the project has suddenly stopped, the Mosley family has become the laughingstock of Kraitburgh.”
Harrison rubbed his chin. “Did the Mosley family offend someone?”
A hateful smile came across Jayvion’s mind.
Last night, Yesenia cut her ties with the Mosley family.
Jayvion’s eyes darkened, and he was lost in his thought.

Getting up too early, Yesenia returned to her room and lay in bed.
Her phone buzzed with notifications, and she tapped open the messages.
Ramiro Hebert sent her a series of links along with the text.
“Boss, late birthday gift incoming! I know you love sketching designs when bored, so… Ta-da! I set up a fashion studio under GeekFlux Group. This studio will ONLY make clothes you like. From managers to janitors, all hired. Just need an assistant. I collected some designer portfolios online. Pick your favorites…”
“Ramiro is really…”
Yesenia shook her head helplessly, touched.
She clicked the links, revealing dozens of personal profiles and fashion design drafts.
As Yesenia skimmed through the thumbnails, she abruptly paused and fixed her eyes on something.
