Chapter 20
Yvonne quickly stepped aside to avoid Sergio’s touch Giving him a cold, wary look, she asked, “Who are you? Do I even know you?”
we treated you like that earlier, but I just can’t stand to
Sergio froze for a moment before forcing an awkward smile. “Yvonne, I know I shouldn’t have see you ruin your life, okay!”
Zane jumped into stir things up, sneering. “Yvonne, how dare you even show up at a press conference? Don’t you have any shame Messing with people’s emotions and sleeping around, you’ve really shown us how low someone can go!”
“Exactly! She looks all glamorous on the screen, but she is so trashy in real life!” another voice chimed in
“Even streetwalkers are better than her!” someone added.
A calculating look flashed in Sergio’s eyes as he stepped in front of Yvonne, trying to look righteous.
He said, “Please, no personal attacks. If you want to blame someone, blame me. I’m not here to expose anything. I just want to know. Did you ever really love me?”
“I’ve already told you I don’t know you” Yvonne said coldly, completely unfazed by the crowd’s accusations. “How can we talk about love? Aren’t you all curious about how I got this slap mark on my face?”
The other reporters, who thought they were there for an interview, were also puzzled. But before they could speak, Zane cut in, sneering, “You should know better than anyone how you got that slap murk, shouldn’t you?”
Yvonne smiled faintly, a knowing look flashing in her eyes as she glanced at Zane, realizing he was working with Sergio. She said calmly, “You seem to know more about it than I do
“Don’t be ridiculous!” Zane said in a harsh tone, clearly trying to stir up public outrage. “You’re the one who played with this college boy’s feelings. and now you’re denying it. As a public figure, you’re setting the worst example for everyone in this industry!”
“Taking gossip at face value and making wild claims without checking the facts, aren’t you just trying to manipulate the public? Doesn’t that make you the one setting the worst example for the media industry? Yvonne retorted.
“You!” Zane sputtered, face reddening with rage. “Silver–tongued, huh? If you want to defend yourself, bring some real evidence instead of attacking
reporter who’s just trying to get to the truth!”
“Since that’s what you want. I’ll make sure you get it.” Yvonne said, her voice calm and cold
Zane and Sergio felt a wave of panic, wondering what Yvonne was going to do
Yvonne turned to face the crowd. “First of all, I want to make it clear that all those photos of me checking in and out of hotels with different men are completely fake.”
1 had forensic experts look at these photos. Here’s the official report I just got. It confirms they’ve been digitally altered. All the raw data and results are on file at the authentication center. If you don’t believe me, feel free to check.
“As for the other photos, let me make it clear. They aren’t altered, but the woman in them is definitely not ine.
“All these photos only show side profiles or backs. The person who set me up was smart. Not only did they use doctored photos, but they even hired stand–ins to make some of the fakes look real.”
Not convinced, a reporter asked, “Then how can you prove that’s not you in those photos?”
“Look, I keep detailed work Ings, and the gossip sites that post these photos also have timestamps. After checking the times, I can confirm that when these photos were supposedly taken, I was either on a flight or in meetings with clients,” Yvonne explained.
She held up her phone, displaying her flight itinerary for everyone to see. “Here are my flight records. If any of you don’t believe me, feel fr take a look”

Might records were almost impossible to fake. Given that all the evidence was real, the only explanation was that Yvonne was framed Zane and Sergio had expected Yvonne to be this well–prepared. They both started to panie.
“So, what’s really going on between you and this man? People are calling you heartless. Care to explain yourself?” one reporter asked.
Twogne walked calmly toward Sergio. “Let me make it clear, I don’t even know him. He’s just a scumbag paid by someone else to ruin ane,‘ she said. This is the hidden camera from his clothes that recorded his violent acts against me, Yvonne said, opening her hand to reveal the tiny device
