Terrence didn’t find Bethany at the hospital, she was coming
towards the hotel now.
“Terrence, I met Bethany at Crown Hotel. She was dragging a
suitcase and seemed lost. When she saw me, she didn’t say hello
or respond when I spoke to her. Emery is still in the hospital,
and she’s not taking care of him. I don’t understand why she’s
running around everywhere. In my opinion, you should just forget about her.”
Evangeline let out all the anger in her stomach at once.
Terrence’s voice, however, was calm and gentle, “Keep an eye on her, don’t let her leave, I’ll be right there.”
Evangeline hung up the phone, her beautiful red lips forming a disdainful curve. “I have already called Terrence, he will be here soon. You better stand here and not go anywhere.”
