Terrence’s hoarse and low voice came out from the watch.

“Bethany, Emery wanted to come to Aranoland. Please book a
flight to Lensar for him and bring him over. After we get
married, you haven’t met my grandfather yet. Take this
opportunity to visit him.“”
Bethany couldn’t speak on the phone.
If Terrence called her and said a sentence to make her look at
the information, he would hang up the phone.
Of course, there were some situations where he didn’t need to
send her a message, he just said it over the phone. These
situations were notifications, notifying her of what she had to

Just like before, after saying that, Terrence hung up the phone.
Bethany saw the name “Krista” on the watch screen.
He made a phone call using Krista’s phone.
Emery put on his watch again and suddenly leaned towards Bethany, saying excitedly, “Mom, can you book the plane tickets

now? We will leave after we have eaten.””
Emery was very close, and Bethany smelled a hint of elegant
perfume.
Just like the scent of Chanel Coco sprayed on Krista.
Krista left this morning, which means Emery was still intimate
with Krista this morning.
Bethany looked at her son, who had a smiling face, and
suddenly felt so unfamiliar.
Her six years, compared to others, were less than ten days.
This made her feel unbearable!
Bethany’s injured finger was exposed, but Emery seemed to not
notice at all.
“Mom?”
Emery put away his smile and looked at her with confusion,
“Can’t you hear what I’m saying?”
She could hear clearly.
But she didn’t answer, instead she reached out her hand in front
of Emery.

The blood on her index finger had already stained the entire
finger.
Emery, however, said, “Mom, it was just my left hand that got
injured, you can use your right hand to touch the phone screen.”
Bethany’s heart completely chilled.
She did not answer Emery’s words and walked into the living
room.
Her left hand was injured, with the palm facing upwards.
She prepared to get the medicine box.
Eliza was carrying a dish and had just placed it on the dining
table when she noticed Bethany’s fingers were bleeding.
She quickly wiped her hands on the apron and hurried over.
“Mrs. McConnell, how did your hand get injured?”
Immediately, Eliza supported Bethany and helped her sit on the
sofa.
Eliza quickly went to the TV cabinet, took out the medicine box, and retrieved a piece of gauze from it. She dipped it in some alcohol and gently wiped the blood off Bethany’s finger.

Eliza was afraid of the pain, so she was rubbing and gently
blowing air at the same time.
Bethany’s eyes were somewhat blurry.
The people who care about you, even from a distance, can still
see your wounds.
People who don’t care about you, even if you present your
bleeding wound in front of their eyes, they will still turn a blind
eye.
Eliza whispered, “Fortunately, the wound wasn’t deep.”
Eliza carefully treated the wound.
Emery impatiently urged, “Eliza, hurry up, I’m still waiting for
my mom to book the flight tickets.”
Eliza looked at Emery in surprise. Mrs. McConnell’s finger was
injured, and he didn’t even say a caring word, but instead urged
her to hurry up.
Eliza was just a maid, dared to be angry but not to speak.
She lowered her head, extinguished the flame, and wrapped
Bethany’s wound with a band–aid.
While Eliza was tidying up the medicine box, Emery started

urging Bethany again.
“Mom, can we book the plane tickets now?”
Bethany then started using sign language, “I was feeling a bit
unwell and didn’t want to go far. If you want to go see your dad, I’ll contact his secretary and have them take you there.”
Emery thought it would be fine.
It seems like Mom didn’t really like Krista. If she went,
whenever there was a disagreement with Krista, he didn’t know
who to protect.
“Okay.”
Bethany waved to Eliza to come over.
She typed on her phone, “I called Terrence’s secretary, you helped me to say, ask him to come to the villa to see me.”
“Okay!”
Bethany dialed the phone and pressed the speakerphone, and it was quickly connected.
“Mrs. McConnell, hello.”
“Mr. Walton, I am Eliza. Mrs. McConnell asked you to come to

Vespera Villa.”
“Okay, I’ll come right away.”
Bethany hung up the phone and gestured to Emery to go eat.
Emery originally wanted to eat the meal made by Bethany, but because Bethany refused to cook, he was feeling a little upset.
But thinking that he would finish his meal early and prepare to go abroad to find Krista, he happily went to have his meal.
Usually, it was Bethany who took care of Emery.
