Gwyneth stood at the top of the stairs and watched Zachary’s eyes flash with fury as he charged at her, making her stumble.
He left her with just one sentence. “Gwyneth. I am so disappointed in you. If anything happens to Bella, I won’t forgive you”
Zachary’s hand trembled as he pressed for the elevator. The struggling breaths of the girl in his arms overlapped with memories in his mind. Sweat beaded on his forehead
Ignoring the shocked looks from his employees in the elevator, he buried his face into Bella’s shoulder. “Don’t die. please”
The employees in the elevator, seeing a life–threatening sinuation unfold, quickly stepped out.
Gwyneth emerged from the stairwell, rubbing her shoulder, and noticed the puzzled faces of several employees. “Get back to work.”
“Yes” Startled, the employees hurried back to their stations.
However, rumors about Zachary rushing Bella to the hospital spread rapidly. In the break room, employees were vividly discussing the incident.
“You should’ve seen it Mr. Flynn’s girlfriend looked like she was on her hat legs Her dress was all dirty like she had fallen.”

Melanie instantly softened lier expression and clung to her father’s arm. “Dad, look at Gwyneth. She doesn’t care about the clients at all.”
