Evangeline called Eliza and told her to take Emery back to the
room.
She didn’t even knock, just pushed open the master bedroom
door and came in.
Bethany just acted like nothing happened and sat in front of the
computer, busy.
Evangeline came over and stood by the computer desk, reached
out and closed Bethany’s laptop, glaring at her angrily.
“Was this invited to be the head judge for a kids‘ quilting
contest, and got so full of themselves they even started working
from home?”
The tone was sarcastic.
Ever since Bethany wanted to divorce Terrence, she was really
distant toward Evangeline.

Bethany typed this line without any politeness.
Evangeline was almost so mad at her that she could spit blood.
“Bethany, did you have a death wish or something? How could
you talk like that? Emery is my own nephew. You hit him, so
why couldn’t I step in? Get out of here right now!”
Evangeline reached out and pointed toward the door.
“It was you who told me to get lost!”
Bethany kept typing.
“That’s right, I was the one who told you to get lost! Grandpa
gave you a chance, but you didn’t care, you didn’t treat Emery
well, you couldn’t keep Terrence’s heart, and you kept making a

fuss about divorce. Grandpa said, if you want a divorce, just do
it, so Emery won’t be embarrassed by having a mute mom like

“I kicked her out!”

kick her out like this, Dad will bring her back again, and Dad
