He was getting ready to find a movie in preparation, to pave the way for Krista, all finished, but he didn’t need it.
“I meant to find one that hadn’t started yet, or was still going on.”
Lucian lit a cigarette and leaned back lazily in his office chair, “Planning to do it for Krista?”
“Yeah.”
Terrence didn’t hide it.
Lucian took a deep drag on his cigarette and said, “Terrence, are
you out of your mind?”
“What did you mean?”
“Your wife already left you, and you were still tangled up with
Krista. Did you really think you were that charming?”
Terrence didn’t think so and said, “There was nothing between
me and her, you guys were overthinking it.“”
Lucian couldn’t help laughing, “People get lost in things.”
Terrence frowned a little. He really didn’t have anything going on with Krista.
All these years, Bethany had always been gentle and caring,
never caused him any trouble, and he thought Bethany could understand everything about him.
One day, Bethany actually brought it up. He was going to explain it to her, but then Rigoberto called and said, Krista fell off the terrace, so he had to leave.
After that, I never got a chance to really talk to her. Things
always got in the way.

“Lucian, I won’t talk to you for now, keep an eye on the movie
thing for me, let me know if you see anything good, I’m hanging
up now.”
After Terrence hung up, he used another SIM card in his phone
to call Bethany.
Before, when Bethany blocked him, he always had to use
someone else’s phone to contact her.
So, I specifically bought a new card.
Bethany just woke up from a coma and heard her phone ring. It
was a call from a stranger.
She hung up the phone.
Terrence listened to the beeping on the phone and thought, He never used this number to contact her, so there’s no way she
could know it was his number.
But she usually didn’t answer calls from strangers.

over the phone, but at least he should mention it to her so she
would know.
So, Terrence typed a message: Beth, it’s not what you think
between me and Krista. I’ll explain everything. Can you pick up
the phone?
After editing the message, Terrence was about to hit send, but
then he thought, this couldn’t be explained in just a sentence or
two. What if she blocked his number again? Then he wouldn’t
be able to contact her for a while.
Terrence deleted the message.
He decided to go to Aranoland himself.
It was better to talk to Bethany in person.
Called Michael and told him to charter a plane.
His legs still couldn’t move, so he could only lie in the hospital bed and took a chartered plane there.
Bethany sat up in bed, Julio bought dinner and came over, knocked on the door, and came in after a while.
