Kyson said, “Don’t worry about Lamont Entertainment, your
movie will definitely make it to theaters. Bethany will cover all
the post–production marketing costs by herself. Don’t tell
anyone Bethany invested in the movie, just say I did. He’ll take
over all the post–production stuff and be fully in charge.“”
Damari found out he was the president of the Duarte Group, so
he felt relieved.
Now, I didn’t have to go looking for anyone anymore.
After talking through everything about the later stuff, Kyson
walked out of the studio, looked back, got in the car, and called
his secretary.
“Get a studio ready for a hundred people as soon as possible, hire
two receptionists, two handymen, two HR staff, and one office
manager, all must know sign language! All computers had to be
high–end, and the studio needed the best lounge area.”
He closed his phone, and Kyson couldn’t calm down for a long
time.
A long time later, he told the driver to go to the Lamont Group.

I got to Lucian’s office door.
Lucian’s assistant was reporting to him.
“Mr. Lamont, they replied and said they already found an
investor!”
“Even if you couldn’t get into theaters, you still wouldn’t pick
the Lamont Group?”
The assistant lowered his head and said yeah.
Lucian threw the files onto the desk and leaned back in his
chair, clearly really angry.
In the movie industry, no one had dared to offend him like that.
“What were you mad about?”
Kyson walked in.
Lucian waved his hand to signal the assistant to leave.
Kyson sat down across from him in his office.
Lucian said, “I heard that director was mute. I really don’t know
how someone like him dared to turn me down.”
“You were already planning to give the movie to Terrence to

invest in, so why get mad.”
“Giving it to Terrence was one thing, but getting rejected so
badly was another. That’s what pissed me off.“‘
Kyson comforted gently, “Don’t be mad, they turned you down
because I got there first and paid all the money.“”
Lucian suddenly sat up straight, “Are you crazy?”
“How did I go crazy?”
“You knew Terrence wanted it, but you still butted in?”
Kyson laughed, “It’s not like this was the first time I did
something like this. You and he both thought it was a good idea,
so I figured I could make some money. I just wanted to earn this
money!”
“Nonsense.” Lucian stared at Kyson, “You can make money,
sure, but I don’t care anymore. Terrence can have it. Do you
really care about this money? You pissed him off on purpose,
didn’t you? You were pretty upset this morning. So, you don’t
want him to bring this movie over and put Krista’s name on it?”
Kyson gave Lucian a thumbs up, “Smart.”
Lucian shook his head, “You really knew how to piss Terrence

off. I think Terrence usually put up with you, but for this, I don’t
know if he could.”
“Who cares if he could stand it or not, I wasn’t afraid of him
getting mad anyway.”
Suddenly, the office door opened, and Kyson and Lucian both
looked toward the door.
Terrence came in in a wheelchair.
His face looked cold, and the wheelchair finally stopped next to
Kyson.
“Was it interesting?”
Even though Terrence knew Bethany was Kyson’s little sister,
Kyson didn’t know.
He just wanted to sort out Krista’s stuff early. After that,
however Krista turned out, he didn’t have to worry about it
anymore.
As a result, Kyson kept interfering in his business.
