She could drag out the divorce, but could Kyson’s mom drag it
out?
Bethany pushed Kyson’s hand away, faced Terrence, and
signed, “Go ahead, what do you want?”
She knew he wouldn’t just get divorced so easily without any
conditions.
“During this one–month cooling–off period, you went back
home to live. I didn’t get in the way of your work and didn’t
restrict your freedom. You just needed to remember that before
we got divorced, you were still my wife, so don’t cheat on me.”
Bethany gave a helpless smile.
“Okay, let’s go to the courthouse.”
She finished the gesture and walked to his car with Terrence.
“Beth.”
Kyson called out to her.
She just paused for a moment, but in the end she still got in

Terrence’s car.
Bethany didn’t say anything the whole way.
Got to the courthouse, and did the divorce registration
smoothly.
Terrence originally wanted Bethany to keep up their old
marriage for this month.
But he saw that Bethany was in a really bad state and was
extremely cold to him, so he didn’t bring it up.
It already felt hard enough just to make it home, so let’s just
leave it at that for now.
Was the agreement drafted by Terrence, or was it drafted in the
same way as that time when Terrence tricked her into coming
home?
What was supposed to go to Bethany, Terrence gave it all.
Bethany herself wasn’t interested, but she didn’t want to make
things complicated. She didn’t want to waste time renegotiating
the contract, so she just signed the agreement Terrence had
drafted.
She didn’t make a scene either. After coming out of the

I walked in, and Cedric, Tabitha, and Krista were all there.
Krista froze for a second. She clearly saw Terrence say he’d
signed the divorce papers, so why did Bethany come back with
him?

Cedric and Tabitha were pretty happy to see Bethany come
back, and they had no idea what method Terrence used to bring
her back.
But if we could bring the person back, did that mean there was a
chance?
“Beth, you finally came back. During this time, Terrence put a lot of thought into your situation. I hope you two can get along
well from now on.”
Her adoptive parents were both there, and Krista said that kind
of polite stuff on purpose.
Cedric and Tabitha also wanted to get closer to Bethany, since
she was their granddaughter–in–law after all, but because of
what Terrence did to her, the two old folks felt ashamed and
really didn’t know how to face Bethany.
Mainly, Bethany’s attitude was really indifferent, and she just

went straight back to the master bedroom.
Her stuff was all in the master bedroom, and after she went in,
she locked the door.
Tabitha quickly called Terrence over, “How did you talk her
into coming back?”
“Don’t worry about it.” He didn’t want to say either, “When are
you guys coming back?”
There were people at home, so the couple couldn’t enjoy their
own world.
Even though this was basically a get out order, Cedric and
Tabitha didn’t get mad.
Tabitha smiled and said, “Since you already brought her back, be nicer to her. I think you two will still be giving each other the
cold shoulder for a while. Because of you, now she doesn’t want
to see any of us. She probably doesn’t want to hang out with us
either, so we’ll just head back first.“”
“I asked my sister to give you a ride.“”
