Terrence looked at Krista, Krista let go of the middle–aged man’s
arm and walked up to Terrence.
“Terrence, what were you doing here?”
“Who was he?”
Terrence’s voice was deep and calm, and his sharp eyes stared
straight at the middle–aged man in front of him.
Bethany also really wanted to know what that man’s
relationship with Krista was.
Krista lowered her eyes and said carefully, “Terrence, I’m sorry.”
“Who was he, really?”
Terrence was obviously a bit angry.
Bethany smirked mockingly. That afternoon at Vespera Villa,
he kept saying there was nothing going on with Krista, but now
he couldn’t stand seeing Krista with another guy.
The middle–aged man had already figured out the other guy
was Terrence. He stepped forward, “Krista is my daughter, may
I ask who you are?”
When Bethany heard this, her phone slipped from her hand
and fell onto the table.
“Beth.” Kyson whispered her name, “Is he the one you’re looking
for?”
Bethany nodded.
“Calm down.”
How was she so calm?
Krista was a thorn in her marriage.
She didn’t want that
marriage, and she could not care about
Terrence and Krista’s relationship.

And Krista’s dad killed her grandma.
Terrence looked at Krista with a puzzled expression.

had the chance to tell you and Mom and Dad yet, sorry.“”
Terrence looked complicated, “Are you going to acknowledge
your real father?”

Krista was worried that Terrence would say she was ungrateful, so she said, “Terrence, I won’t leave my parents. They raised me, and I’ll take care of them when they’re old.”

Krista’s adoptive parents have done a lot for her, I get how you
all feel. But don’t worry, I just want to acknowledge my own
daughter, I won’t force her to leave the Gilbert family.”
“Dad, you go do your thing first.”

Kyson let out a cold laugh in his heart. Krista had been adopted
by Grandpa Xu and Grandma Xu since she was born. This cheap dad really got a good deal. He never raised his daughter, but
now that he found her, she just accepted him as her dad.
Krista’s biological father said to Terrence, “This is my business card. If anything comes up, you can contact me anytime.”
Terrence glanced at the business card and didn’t take it.
Krista couldn’t help feeling a bit awkward and urged the man, “You go first.”
The man had to leave for a while.
Kyson helped Bethany check the info about that car and found out Krista’s dad was called Darren Harding.
She remembered that when she was a kid, her grandma called him Dr. Terrell. Looks like he used a fake name when he was
scamming people.
Back then, I drove a Bentley, wore designer brands from head to
toe, and the watch on my wrist and the ring on my thumb were
worth a fortune.
Looks like he had some social status now.
