Terrence had already turned and gone to his table.
Krista was with the past.
Bethany said to Kyson, “Let’s go.”
Kyson went out with Bethany. He said, “Beth, I’ll have the driver take you home. I’ll go check things out.”
“Thank you.”
“Don’t worry yet, I’ll check Darren’s situation later. Your
grandma was my grandpa’s benefactor, and also the Duarte
family’s benefactor. I would definitely find a way to help her get
justice.”
Kyson opened the car door and let Bethany get in. He walked
back into Blossom Nightclub, went straight to Terrence’s table,
sat down next to Lucian, and said, “Terrence, I just heard that
Krista found her real dad. As long as she goes back to him, she
won’t be your aunt anymore. You’ll be able to get divorced soon.
If you two want to get back together, I guess no one will stop
you anymore. Congrats in advance.”
Lucian pulled Kyson, “Kyson, don’t talk nonsense.”
During this time, Kyson just had to help Bethany and go against Terrence. He knew Terrence didn’t want a divorce, but still said
stuff like that to mess with Terrence.
Krista didn’t say anything. If she had, it would’ve been awkward when she told Terrence she wanted to be together.
Kyson looked furious.
He had known Krista for years, the relationship between the Duarte family and the Sharkey family was just there, and to him, Krista was just the daughter of a family friend. He didn’t
have any special feelings for her, good or bad.
As for his current good relationship with Bethany, Krista was
just someone who had a past with Terrence, and he didn’t
comment.
It was just that when he found out Krista’s real dad was a liar,
he felt really uncomfortable.
“I was talking nonsense, why didn’t he argue back?”
Kyson just felt really uncomfortable.
Terrence looked up, “You guys go first.”
Kyson snorted. Terrence was really good at protecting Krista,
afraid he’d say something to upset her.
“Lucian, let’s go, we’re being third wheels here.”
Kyson stood up.
Terrence told them to go first, so Lucian didn’t have the nerve to stay here and left with Kyson.
After we went out, Lucian said, “Kyson, sorry, I wanted to help
you ask Terrence about your little sister, but he kept his mouth
shut and wouldn’t say anything, not even when I tried to scare
him.”
“How did you scare them?”
“I said if you told your family, your parents and mine would
definitely go to the McConnell’s villa to question him about this,
put pressure on him as elders, and he still didn’t react.”
“Was he that easy to scare? Let’s go, forget about him. He only
cared about Krista and didn’t even want a divorce. I really didn’t

At first, Kyson even wanted to set them up, but now he had

“Kyson just said that, why didn’t you talk back?”
Krista froze for a second, totally clueless why Terrence asked that.
But things had gotten to this point, so it was about time for her
to step in.
Krista said in a trembling voice, “I felt the same way in my heart, how do you expect me to argue with you?”
“Terrence, seven years ago we couldn’t get married because of
this thing between us. In the end, I couldn’t take it. I just couldn’t
watch my parents get hurt over this. Now my real dad came to
find me. Why should I accept him? Don’t you get it?”
