Lucian grabbed Terrence’s arm, “You’re really planning to get
divorced? Wait, that’s not right. If you’re getting divorced, why
did you give the property division documents to Kyson?”
Kyson took it.
The next second, he threw the file bag at Terrence’s chest, “You
think our family needed this? You think this money could make
up for the hurt you caused her?”
“Terrence!”
“The Duarte family didn’t need your fake kindness!”
“I came here today to tell you, don’t try to make any more
trouble. The cooling–off period is over, just go and get the
divorce certificate with her.””
Lucian hurried over and stopped Kyson. “Are you out of your
mind? Terrence getting a divorce has nothing to do with the
Duarte family. Don’t ruin things between us over something
like this.”
Lucian wanted to talk them into fixing their relationship. He
didn’t know the truth yet. Kyson wasn’t mad at him. Instead, he

looked at Lucian seriously and said, “Would I come all the way
here if it had nothing to do with the Duarte family?”
“Not only was it related to the Duarte family, it was also related
to you?”
“Otherwise, why did I ask you to come?”
Lucian was even more confused, “What does it have to do with
me?”
“Beth was Daphne.”
Kyson answered without thinking.

“Back then, did you still want to tell me not to get involved in

Lucian turned around, grabbed Terrence by the collar, and

Terrence’s back, and the sharp pain spread all over him.
The veins on Lucian’s forehead were popping out. He still hadn’t
let go of Terrence’s collar. He shook Terrence hard and said,
“Last time I told you about that movie, when you were gonna
give it to Krista, did you know she was Daphie?”
“Got it.”
Terrence didn’t deny it.
Lucian punched again, “Do you even have a conscience? Luckily
she wanted to get engaged to you when she was a kid, and she
really wanted me too. She’s also making animation, but you
never think about her, you only care about Krista?”
Back then they were all still little, didn’t understand any of this,
anyway they just played together and had a great time.
