Kyson was gasping for air, holding his chest. Back then, he

grandma raised her. Even when her grandma left later, at least
Beth had a skill to support herself. She went through some
tough times until she met Ms. Guzman, but that wasn’t a big
deal. The hardest part was probably all those years married to
Terrence. So from now on, no one in our family will have to put
up with anything like that again. By the way, I’m giving you a
heads–up about that arranged marriage thing.”

Lucian’s way of thinking, “She’s been through so much. If she

kidding me? When she was a kid, she would rather have.

mind and fall for you when she grows up?”
“Can things from childhood be the same as when you grow up?
Besides, yesterday at the McConnell’s villa, I really cooperated. I
made Randy so mad his face kept changing colors. He said
