Elric did not even flinch at the news. He calmly nodded as if everything she had said made perfect sense.!!
“She’s just angry with us. Eloise would never do something so extreme,” my adoptive mother chimed in quickly, hoping to smooth things
over.
“No, she’s not just angry. Eloise is Mrs. Morven biological daughter.”
At that moment, the assistant who had accompanied her stepped forward with a faint, mocking smile.
“Miss Thessaly has known the truth for a while. She even took the blame for leaking company secrets to protect Elric Solvain and his business.“8

A wave of pressure crushed Elric’s chest

However, Roselyn showed no care for her mother’s heartbreak. Instead, she quickly turned to Elric, her voice softening with urgency.

At Elric’s words, her voice was trembling with carefully rehearsed fragility.

Elric froze. Then his eyes went wide with shock, In a heartbeat, he grabbed the assistant by the collar, his voice raw and shaking, “She was pregnant? Why the hell didn’t anyone tell me sooner?”
The assistant struggled to speak. “Miss Thessaly planned to surprise you… she said she was going to tell you during the engagement party.”
Elric staggered back like he had been struck by lightning. His hands dropped to his sides and his face tumed pale as snow.
He whispered, numb. “That day ay the engagement party… I left her behind to take wedding portraits with Rosie.”
Suddenly, an image flashed in his mind–deep red blood soaking into Eloise’s skirt in the basement. His knees buckled and he collapsed into a chair, the weight of guilt crashing down on him.
“What the hell have I done?”
My adoptive mother fell to her knees beside him, tears brimming in her swollen n eyes. “Eloise must hate me. I was a terrible mother. But she won’t die. I know she won’t. I have to bring her back!%
Elowen, who had seen the flicker of fear in Roselyn’s eyes, turned to her coldly. “Go find Eloise and apologize. If you don’t, you’re out of the Morven Family.
Just then, Toby barged into the hospital room with a group of friends in tow. His careless laughter echoed through the hallway.!!
“Sis, didn’t you ask me yesterday to ruin that bitch Eloise? Why’s Mom suddenly asking you to look for that bitch?”
The words fell like a bomb. The room exploded into chaos.
“What the hell did you do to Eloise? She’s your sister!” Elowen’s eyes widened, her expression turning to stone. Her voice shook as if the truth physically pained her.
“Mom, what? Wait, isn’t she just some gold digger tramp trying to steal my sister’s fiancé?” Toby asked in confusion !!
“Shut up!” Elowen snapped and with a resounding slap, she struck Roselyn across the face
“Get out. Get the hell out of my house. Out of the Morven Family Raising you for twenty years was the biggest act of charity I ever did for a filthy stray dog like you?“;
Roselyn clutched her cheek, her expression a mix of disbelief and desperation. She turned toward Elric with pleading eyes. “Elnic, it wasn’t me. It was Eloise! She was jealous because I’m prettier. She wanted to ruin my life. You have to believe mel”! Einic’s face hardened, his gaze colder than death. He stepped forward, seized her by the neck and slammed her against the wall!
4.48 PM
“You should be thankful you’re carrying my child–because if you weren’t, I don’t know what I’d do to you right now.”
Roselyn gasped for air, her hands clawing at his wrist. Seeing his eyes filled with the same cruelty he had once used on Eloise, her body began to shake uncontrollably.
Then, my adoptive mother stepped forward, her voice barely a whisper, brittle and broken. “Rosie… this happened because I failed you. I didn’t raise you right. From now on go back with me, your real mother.
Roselyn collapsed in a mess of sobs, her voice sharp and hysterical. “You crazy old woman, get out of here! I’m not your daughter. I’m the eldest daughter of the Morven Family!“))

Elric and my adoptive mother turned pale. Deathly pale.
The first recording played
“Elric, I’ve already arranged for the attackers to be smuggled out of the country. No one will ever trace this back to you.“!
The second message:

And finally the third message:
