A knock on the door stirred me awake. My head pounded dully, and for a moment, I couldn’t move

Moments from last night, and early hours of this morning came crashing over meThe way Zion had taken me, over and over again

I wanted to convince myself it had been a dream, but the soreness between my legs and the slow, sticky trail of cum down my thighs said otherwise

I turned my head. He was gone

But his scent lingered like he’d never left. It clung to the sheets, to the pillow, to me

There was another knock. This time, a voice followed.Lily? Can I come in?”

It was Zelda, and panic bloomed in my soul

I sat up, pulling the sheets tightly around me. WWait! Just give me a few minutes.”

There was a pause

I wanted us to go for breakfast together, she said, sounding slightly dejected. Everyone’s downstairs already. Dad, MomZion.”

Her mention of his name made my heart lurch. I scrambled out of bed, flinching as the soreness reminded me just how real the night had been

I’ll meet you there,I called back softly

Okay, she said hesitatingly, the sound of her footsteps fading Don’t take forever.”

I rushed to the bathroom, flicking on the light. When I caught sight of myself in the mirror, I froze

My cheeks were flushed, lips a little swollen, my hair was wild, and my skin glowed in a way it never had before

Ravena purred inside me, and even Vaelith seemed satisfied

I had never felt so…

alive

A squeal slipped past my lips before I could stop it. I quickly brushed my teeth and freshened up, scrubbing gently between my thighs where I was still sticky with his release

Choosing a soft lilac dress that fell just above my knees, I hurried out of the room and made my way downstairs

The moment I stepped into the dining room, I felt Zion’s eyes on me

He lifted his head and smiled briefly, before dropping his gaze back to his plate

Everyone was already seated

Chapter 32

The Queen beamed. You look wellrested, Lily.”

Even Zelda chimed in, You’re literally glowing!”

The King gave me a warm smile. Good morning, Lily.”

For a heartbeat, I wanted to call them Mom and Dad. The warmth in their eyes, the way they looked at meit was so genuine, but I swallowed the urge and simply said, Thank you. Good morning.”

A maid came over and served my plate. I took a seat directly opposite Zion

He winked, and my stomach flipped

Zelda launched into one of her enthusiastic rants about a dress she wanted me to try, and thankfully, no one seemed to notice how I barely touched my food

After breakfast, I stood to excuse myself

Lily,Zion’s voice cut through the moment. Would you come with me to the painting studio?”

The room went still. All eyes turned to me, and my heart raced

Okay,I said softly

I want to come too!Zelda chirped

No,Zion said immediately

Zelda pouted. You never let anyone into your painting studio. Not even the maids are allowed to clean there, and now you just want to take Lily?”

The King chuckled lightly. Zion likely wants to bond with her. It’s been a long time since they’ve spent time as siblings. Let them be.”

Zelda crossed her arms. Fine. But I’m giving you thirty minutes. After that, it’s my turn to steal Lily back.”

That made me laugh

Zion rose and gently took my hand, leading me down the corridor. We walked through some hidden routes, chambers and finally arrived

The moment we stepped inside the studio, I felt the weight of silence wrap around us

He closed the door and turned the lock

The room was clean, meticulously so. Different sizes of canvases lined the walls, filled with stunning depictions of nature; lush forests, moonlit lakes, glowing skies

They’re beautiful,I whispered

He didn’t answer

Close your eyes,he said instead

I turned to him. What?”

Trust me.”

Something in his voice made my heart still

I hesitated, then slowly closed my eyes

He guided me gently by the hand, and led me through a side door. The floor beneath me changed, soft like carpet. Then I felt something behind my knees- a bed

He helped me sit down

Now,he whispered. Open them.”

I did

And gaspedThe walls were covered with hundreds of paintings of me: sleeping, laughing, talking, looking out the window in class. Every expression, every moment was captured in time through his eyes

I didn’t know whether to cry or to breathe

Zion had really loved me…
