The CEO answered my call and rushed over immediately.
When Neysa saw him, it was like she had found her savior; she immediately started rambling nonsensically.
The CEO, clearly uninterested in her screeching, turned to me as I handed him the contract documents for the customized vehicle. These documents confirmed that we had ordered this car three months ago for Adalia’s coming–of–age celebration.
He shot a cold glance at the smug Neysa.
“This car has been fully paid for by this lady. Your current behavior, under commercial agreements, amounts to theft!”

The CEO picked up on my subtle hint and didn’t reveal that I was the Alpha of the Blackmaw Pack.
Neysa, indignant, shouted, “I’ve already said, no matter how much this car costs, I’m willing to pay an extra million…”
The CEO looked at her as if she were an idiot. “Ma’am, this isn’t about money. Forcibly seizing the property of another werewolf is a blatant provocation against her pack! Do you really want to ignite a pack conflict with you and Beta Damien? If you keep causing a scene, I’ll have to report this to the Alpha Council!”
Finally, Neysa reluctantly shut her mouth.

do; let’s find something else! I promise I’ll pick out a better one and personally deliver it to your doorstep!”
My daughter Adalia shot them a disdainful glance. “She just drove this car and kicked the door with her filthy foot. We don’t want a new car tainted with such disgusting vibes!”
Upon hearing this, the werewolf salesman looked absolutely thrilled and immediately faced Neysa. “That’s perfect, Beta Mrs.! Now you can buy it!”
Neysa, however, was now furious. “What the hell? She says she wants it, then she says she doesn’t?! If she doesn’t want it, then neither do I!”
The crowd of werewolves surrounding us was filming everything, and the atmosphere became even more bizarre.

“Oh, that’s rich! Just a moment ago, they were ready to claw each other’s eyes out, and now, neither wants it!”
“Didn’t this woman claim she was the Beta’s wife from Blackmaw Pack? If she’s got that much power, why doesn’t she just buy it?”

I found the whole situation laughable. Over the past few years, my pack had been running smoothly, so I left most of the operations to Damien while I focused on spending time with my daughter. I never imagined this fool Damien would dare

With so many people watching, Neysa was practically being roasted alive.
She impatiently nodded, “I guess it’s my unlucky day to be tangled up with you two broke losers! This piece of junk isn’t worth more than five hundred grand!”
She pulled out a sleek black metal card and waved it in the air. “This card has fifty million on it, enough to buy you ten of these junkers! Swipe it!”
As soon as she displayed that card, gasps erupted from the crowd of werewolves.
“Oh my God, that’s the Blackmaw Pack internal credit badge! I heard only core members get one, and they have unlimited access to pack funds!”

At that moment, the werewolf salesman was sweating bullets; when he heard Neysa was ready to buy, he immediately treated her like royalty as he took the card from her.
“Beta Mrs., you’ve just saved my life! You’re the legendary warrior–so generous and so bold!”
Puffed up by that flattery, she grandly waved her hand. “I’ll treat everyone here to drinks at ‘Blood Moon Bar‘ tonight!”
Cheers erupted around the room.
Neysa turned around and sarcastically said to us, “Not like certain poor folks, who’ve lived their entire lives and think they’ve made it just by driving a starter armored car!”

The crowd began to murmur amongst themselves.
“Being a powerful werewolf really has its perks; five million sounds like pocket change!”
“That mother–daughter duo is so
short–sighted; they might as well let her have the car and make a powerful friend in the process!”
Amid the crowd’s compliments, I handed the purchase contract to the werewolf salesman.
“Great, it’s fifty–five million. Let her swipe the card.”
When I said that, Neysa didn’t even look back and spat on the ground.

“Are you adding a zero on the price? There’s no way this car costs over fifty million!” She screeched. “I’m telling you, this is extortion! You’ll be brought to the pack’s court for this; don’t think I’m some pushover!”
The onlookers urged me, “You two should just take the five million and walk away; that’s already a good deal. Don’t be greedy.”
“I heard Blackmaw Pack has a formidable fighting squad. If you push too hard, you might get ripped apart the second you step outside!”
I turned to the werewolf salesman. “Your backend system should have an order record, right?”
The werewolf salesman dashed to the computer to check the data. The next

He gasped in a quivering voice, “Oh my Moon Goddess… this car really… it truly costs fifty–five million dollars!”
