In the office, Baldwin carefully reviewed the quote and then looked up at the middle aged woman, asking, “What is your request?”

Baldwin replied calmly, “But Ms. Elliott has already provided the design plans for your daughter’s house, and our construction team has already started work. The plumbing and electricity are done, and the furniture is in the process of being customized
“When you signed the agreement, it was clearly stated that unless there are quality issues or a breach of contract, the deposit is non–refundable.”
“How can it not be refunded?” The woman’s voice rose in anger. “If you don’t refund me, I’ll call the police right now!
