Jane had already learned from Page that the dinner reservation had been made at Carmen’s Kuchen. As a local of Eldoria, she knew the restaurant wasn’t cheap
When the waiter led them to a private room and handed them the menu. Jane couldn’t help but look at the steep prices. She ordered only one main course and one appetizer before closing the menu.

“Page nodded and turned to Moira, smiling warmly. “Moira, why don’t you order! Pick whatever you like, and we’ll add a few more dishes.”
Moira was no stranger to the place. She and Conrad had been herr several times, so she knew their preferences well. She also understood that Jane and Page favored lighter dishes, so she quickly suggested four or five options

Moira took the menu back from the waiter and handed it to Conrad. The first dish he ordered was buffalo wings, followed by a variety of her favorites–spicy, sweet, and everything. He even ordered her a blue cheese layered pastry and some fruit juice.
A smile tugged at the comer of Moira’s lips, and she couldn’t help but feel a sense of happiness she couldn’t quite explain.
Although Jane thought they might have ordered too much, she understood, it was his gesture and didn’t want to interrupt. Her mind drifted back to when Moira went out with Austin and Jaylee treated them to dinner.
The four of them had only spent 22 dollars. At that moment, Jane felt so disappointed in Moira. Now, with Virgil, she couldn’t be more pleased.

Conrad’s deep voice replied with a simple, “Mm.”
Moira hadn’t felt much when she and Conrad got the marriage license. She had initially attended this dinner to please the elders. But now, something had shifted within her. She thought, “From this moment on, we’re genuinely husband and wife,
