As soon as I finished, the crowd chuckled.

“He probably got dumped and is seeking
attention. The couple just confessed. What’s

Mark growled at the crowd.
He stared at me, his face pained, but he
gritted his teeth.

Avoiding looking at Wendy’s smiling face,

When we returned, I moved all my belongings
to Vince’s house.
He already had a villa that was empty. Vince smiled. “It’s decorated according to
your preferences. Let me know if anything needs changing.”
I was stunned by the plush toys in the
bedroom, grinning.
