On Danny’s birthday, I met someone.
He looked like Danny.
They even had similar names.
Danny was Danny. Mikey was Mikey.
Danny had to follow his dream. Maybe I could
be happy with someone who reminded me of
him.
Danny said it was okay.
I think I liked him.
But he wasn’t Danny.
He asked for a birthday present.

He believed me.
That day was Danny’s birthday.
I got Danny a medical notebook.
I liked seeing Mikey writing in the notebook. It
reminded me of Danny taking care of me.
But they were different.
I was starting to really like Mikey.
