That afternoon, Dad called.
He wanted me to be at the auction in ten days. If I won, I could be in charge of the

I knew about that piece of land.
Last time, I was too shaken up from the
kidnapping. Then Tiffany died, and I crashed.

I liked him, and thought we were meant to be

He made a park, and became successful.
I wanted that land.
Then, Tiffany showed up.
She acted like she had changed.
“Can you break up with Chad? We’re just
friends. I won’t ever show up again.”
I gave her a blank stare.
After she died, Chad acted like they were
more than just friends.

The day he said he would divorce me, I cut
myself for the tenth time.
When he came home, I was bleeding.
He agreed to a divorce, and then asked, “Do
you know what day it is?”
I shook my head.
He called me heartless. “You should be
grateful. You’re just trying to run away. I hate you!”
I yelled, “I wish you were dead with her!”
The car suddenly spun out, and we went
down the hill.
