Chapter 4
That set off the Live.
[She was putting on a show, and then she
turned out to be a gold digger!]
[Right! A respectable complex like this shouldn’t

I looked at who had commented. It was my
neighbor, Deb.
Deb was paranoid. She was always saying I was
too loud.
I went on vacation for a couple of weeks, and
she called me to yell.
She didn’t believe me.
When I got back, my fridge had been turned off,
and the food was all rotten.
Deb thought I was too loud, and wouldn’t pay
for it.
I hated her ever since.
I didn’t think she’d try to call me out here.
When Chad saw the comment, he was thrilled.
<
“I knew it. How could she afford this nice place
if she wasn’t with someone?”
“She’s not just a freak, she’s a gold digger.
Since you won’t listen, I’m gonna teach you a lesson!”
Chad kicked a cabinet under the shelf, knocking
all of the decorations on the floor.
They broke into pieces.
The Live stayed quiet.
The people who were watching were the
employees for the complex. Last time around, I
had died because they had given Chad my address.
After I died, I learned that Brittany was related
to them.
Why would they help me?

He knew the car was my dad, but he stayed
silent.

I found the employees and tagged them on the
Facebook group.

Sure enough, one replied.
[Amy, you and Brittany have always been close.
She got married, but you didn’t stop being
friends. Tell Chad what happened, so he stops.]
[You tell them, so they leave you alone.]
People in the group commented.
[He’s right. Her husband is probably just
worried. Tell them where she is, and they’ll

leave.]
[Right. She’s so quiet, but she’s got a lot of issues.]

[Can we kick her out of the complex? She’ll bring down the price of the houses.]
[Girls these days don’t want to work hard. They
just want things to be easy. They’re ruining society!]
[She’s right. If my daughter was like that, I’d break her legs.]
The viewers in the Live stayed.
Then someone left a comment.
[Little Chad, run! The cops are here!]
