“I’ll ask.”
“I don’t want you to lose out on anything.”
“How about I meet your family? Even your
uncle.”
I agreed.
I spent hours getting ready, and Luke waited.
We got to the restaurant and I got scared.
The girl that messed with Luke was there.
She smiled and grabbed his hand.
“So I see you and Ashley are doing well, she’s
very beautiful! You have to let me catch up
with you more often, Luke.”
“She’s family…‘
We started eating, but then everything started
to click. I was afraid to ask.
We finished lunch, and I had to know more.
“Sweetheart, what’s the matter? You seem
quiet. What’s on your mind, honeybunch?”
After finishing lunch, I understood everything.
She was Luke’s aunt.
“Aunt I…”
“That’s right honey, just Aunt to you! No need
to be too formal, as long as Ashley loves you
that’s all that matters.”
Luke and I left the restaurant.

me hear it from you”
“Baby, I didn’t even know!”
Later, Luke asked me to marry him.
It was almost wedding day.
Sarah tried to change my mind. “Are you
really getting married?”
“Are you choosing him over me, that easily?”
I stared at him. “Do you not realize what
you’re doing?
“Luke and I love each other.”
Dean stared. “I was going to ask, but I never got the chance to get married, you even got
pregnant..”
Luke helped me home and changed the
wedding date.
I didn’t like Dean, I saw him as my own
brother.
From other people, Dean did a simple
wedding without many people.
Sarah had to keep her anger under control.
Dean was happy to see Sarah walk to him,
but then he started to daydream of what
Ashley would look like in her white dress.
“It’s time to say the vows..”
Dean had to force himself into reality.
“The show has to continue, the job has to be
done, I have to succeed.”
“Just get it done, I have to deal with other
things later.”
He escaped, and he left her crying.
“You have to take care of our child…”
Luke was ready to protect her.
“She gets a life with him, but I get nothing,
there’s no hope for me.”
I knew Luke would keep Dean away, even
telling the guards to keep him out.
I walked to my future, not worrying about
Dean.
My uncle was happy.
I learned Luke lived over seas with his aunt.
“I came back to win you over, looks like you
got to me first.”
“And I’m here to stay, I don’t intend to lose
you again”
He held me and kissed me.
We saw Dean.
Luke held me back. “If you mess with my wife
again, I’ll ruin you!”
“I made a mistake, give me another chance, I
love you.”
“You said you loved me, didn’t you remember
any of the good times?”
We left him and never thought about it again.
My dad fired Dean, and he walked out.
Luke ruined him and put him in a mental
hospital.
During the wedding, I got scared and hid in
the restroom.
Luke went to ask me.
I jumped and covered myself.
“Baby, I’m cold.. You’re leaving me cold on
our wedding night?”
He pulled me to him and kissed me.
I heard from a friend.
Dean lost everything.
Sarah left, and he was kicked out of the
hospital.
He kept walking around asking for his sister.
One day he died.
