I was never going to get to the scent of a dirty diaper, no matter how many times I’ve had to change one. I crinkled my nose as I stared down at my child, poop smeared all within the diaper, and a smiling face lighting up the baby’s features.
“Seriously… what does your mother feed you?” 10”
My daughter just kicked her little feet and let out
“Ew!” I heard from below. “That’s yucky.”

I barked out a laugh as I looked down at my almost 5–year–old son, Declan. His blue eyes, and his lips were pressed in a line. He was my spitting image, which was fitting considering he was the future Alpha. He had strong Lycan blood coursing through his veins; I could already feel how powerful he was going to be when he came of age. But for right now, he was a little menace of a son, and I loved everything about him.

“She’s not my sister when she smells like that,” Declan said, his nose crinkling even more.
This only made me laugh further.
“You two are hopeless,” Irene said, leaning against the door with her arms folded across her chest. “What

I rolled my eyes at my oldest daughter.
“You’re only back for a couple of weeks before you return to Jeremy’s territory,” I reminded her. Irene, who moved to her
mate’s territory after their wedding a couple of years ago, was back to celebrate Lilith’s 1(st) birthday. She managed to take time off from her job as an event planner to spend a couple of weeks here. Honestly, it’s been nice having her around because she helps out with the children.
Being 3 months pregnant herself, it gives her a lot of practice.
“I’m amazed you survived all this time without me,” she teased, walking into the room. “Move over and let me take care of my
little sister,”
I moved away so she could have room, holding my hands up in defeat.
“I won’t argue with that.”
Declan mimicked my moves, putting his small hands up too.
“Me too,” he agreed, making both Irene and me laugh.
I scooped my son into my arms.
*Come on, let’s go find your mom and big brother,” I told him as I headed out of the room.
“They are out back,” Irene called after me
Of course, they were, they were always training. Now that Matthew was 13 years old, his training had gotten harder, and Judy

was with him every step of the way. She had been working with the Elite Gamma force for the last 4 years, and her skills and
strength had only gotten better.
In a few years, Matthew will be eligible to become an Alpha. I had two future Alphas under one roof; it was chaotic.
I stepped out onto the back patio, staring at the training ground until I saw Judy and Matthew, toe to toe in a combat challenge. Judy moved effortlessly, and Matthew moved with just as much grace. They were almost equal when it came to combat, and watching them had always been fascinating.
I was amazed at how much better Matthew had gotten.
The small trail of sweat that dripped down the side of her face and the nape of her neck drew me to her. I wanted to drag my tongue across her neckline, nipping at the mark I left on her mark when we got married 4 years ago,
She turned to look at me, her eyes lighting up and a smile blessing her gorgeous face.
“Dad, check this out!” Matthew said as he showcased a new move Judy had taught him.
He performed it effortlessly, hitting the target right on the mark.
Declan clapped and cheered for his older brother, wigging out of my arms so he could run to him. I released him and laughed
as I saw him running towards Matthew’s open embrace.
“Nice job, buddy,” I praised Matthew, loving how he hugged his brother without hesitation.
Judy beamed at the sibling’s affection as well, her features practically glowing with happiness.
“Yay, Matty!” Declan cheered and giggled as Matthew twirled him around.
I came up behind my wife and wrapped my arms around her, pulling her into me.
“Hey, Beautiful,” I murmured, pressing a kiss to her mating mark. “How’s training?”
“He’s almost better than me,” she said, smiling. “I’m proud of him.”
“I honestly think he’s going to be a better Alpha than me,” I admitted. I had high hopes for Matthew, and I knew he was going to surpass me by a long shot.
“Where’s Lilith?” She asked, turning to look up at me.
“With her sister,” I said. ‘It’s nice having Irene home for a couple of weeks. We can pawn the little she–devil off to her.”
I smirked at Judy’s appalled face.
“Don’t speak about our little girl like that,” she said, smacking my chest playfully.
I laughed and peppered a soft kiss on her lips.
“Ew, get a room, you two,” I heard from nearby.
