Chapter 203
By the time Cain landed in Darmechia, it was already past 8 PM.
He took a taxi straight to the hospital.
When he walked into the hospital room, he saw Sienna curled up on the bed, looking pitiful and frail,
Her eyes were closed, but her sleep was restless.
Her small face was pale, and she was mumbling in her sleep:
“It wasn’t me… I swear it wasn’t me… Joshua, don’t leave… it wasn’t me… it wasn’t, it wasn’t… Joshua, Jamar, please don’t abandon me… sob…”
Cain walked over, his heart aching, and gently touched her face.
“How much has she suffered for her to be having nightmares like this?” he thought.
The moment his hand touched her, Sienna jerked awake with a scream.
She opened her eyes and saw Cain, who had rushed all the way here just for her.
Tears immediately streamed down her face. “Cain… is it really you?”
Cain quickly pulled out a handkerchief and wiped her tears. “It’s me. I’m here.”
Sienna used her good hand to push herself up and threw herself into Cain’s arms.
“Cain, you’re finally here! It hurts so much… I feel so awful… I was so scared.”
Cain held her tightly, gently patting her back. “Shh, don’t be scared. Cain is here now.”
He comforted her for a long time until she finally smiled through her tears.
After chatting for a bit, Cain asked, “Sienna, do you want to eat something?”
Sienna shook her head. “I’m not hungry. I haven’t had much appetite these past two days. You just got here you haven’t eaten dinner yet, right?”
Cain shrugged. “I had a little something on the plane, so I’m not that hungry.”
Sienna’s eyes flickered with thought. “Joshua and Jamar’s livestream should be ending soon. You should go have a late–night snack with them first, then come back to keep me company.”
Those two weren’t visiting her because they still had resentment over what happened.
But she knew that if she could see them in person, she could play the victim, act pitiful, and win them over.
But if they kept avoiding her, she had no way to even try.
So she needed Cain to bring them to her.
Cain frowned. “Why do I need to see them? I came here for you.”
He had zero interest in seeing those heartless brothers right now.
Sienna’s eyes reddened, and she leaned against his chest.
“Joshua and Jamar misunderstand me. I want to explain, but they won’t even give me the chance.”
She grabbed his hand and pouted. “Cain, can you talk to them for me? Tell them not to be mad at me anymore? I’ll explain and apologize in person. We’re family–I don’t want to be estranged from them.”
Seeing her looking so fragile and hopeful, Cain felt even more protective.
“Those two call themselves her brothers? She’s more mature than them!”
He sighed. “Fine, I’ll go talk to them. Once they see you and hear you out, they’ll understand. This whole thing isn’t even your fault–it’s Phoebe and them being cruel.
Sienna nodded in agreement but pretended to be humble. “I have my faults too. They’re only upset at me because of Phoebe. So, Cain, when you talk to them, don’t bring up Phoebe. I don’t want our family to fight because of her anymore.

She couldn’t let Cain dig too deep into what actually happened.
Cain patted her head affectionately. “You’re too kind. Alright, I won’t mention her.”
After comforting her a little longer, he left for Joshua and Jamar’s hotel.
Since Joshua and Jamar had skipped working today, their livestream had already ended after dinner.
Meanwhile, the other two groups had gone to the gaming café.
Phoebe had even invited Andrea, who immediately ditched the three guys.
This left Joshua, Jamar, and Reece annoyed and sulking.
Joshua was hanging out in Jamar’s room, watching TV, when Jamar’s phone rang.
Seeing the caller ID, Jamar muttered, “Ten bucks says it’s Cain.”
Joshua rolled his eyes. “Of course it is. That guy got here fast.”
It was painfully obvious who Cain cared about most.
When Joshua had been injured before, he had asked Cain to bring him something at the hospital
Cain had taken his sweet time, only showing up the next day, despite being in the same city.
Yet for Sienna? He had crossed two countries overnight to see her.
Joshua felt bitter. “Damn. Guess I know where I rank now.”
Jamar answered the call and put it on speaker. “Cain, you made it to Darmechia?”
Cain’s voice came through. “I’m already at your hotel. What room are you guys in?”
Jamar and Joshua exchanged puzzled glances. “Weren’t you supposed to be taking care of Sienna? Why are you here?”
After reporting the room number, Cain headed up in the elevator. “I already visited Sienna. She asked me to come find you two. I’ll explain when I get up there.
Then he hung up.
Jamar sighed. “He’s here to drag us to the hospital, isn’t he?”
Joshua groaned. “Definitely. But I’m not going. I don’t want to see Sienna before we fly home.”
Jamar nodded in agreement. “Then we’re not going.”
Moments later, there was a knock on the door.
Jamar opened it, letting Cain in.
Cain glanced around the room with disgust. “Damn. This place is pathetic.”
Jamar shrugged. “We’re broke.”
Cain looked at them with pity. “You guys really brought this on yourselves.”
Then, with a smirk, he added, “Want me to book you a better hotel?”
Preferably one near the hospital, where they could take turns staying overnight with Sienna.
Joshua and Jamar immediately saw through him. “No need, they rejected in unison. “We’re working. If you book us a hotel, that’s cheating.”
They didn’t want to stay with Cain.
And his mocking tone was seriously annoying.
Cain rolled his eyes. “You guys are way too serious.”
Then he got to the point. “What’s wrong with you two? You just left Sienna alone in the hospital? When I got there, she was curled up, muttering in her sleep, saying she wasn’t at fault, begging you not to abandon her. You’re being too cruel.”

Joshua and Jamar exchanged skeptical looks.
How convenient that Cain arrived just as she was “dreaming” about this exact scenario.
But they knew there was no point arguing.
Cain would never believe them. So they simply shrugged it off.
“Yeah, yeah. We’re the worst. So now that you’re here, Sienna’s your problem.”
Cain was speechless. “You admit you’re in the wrong, but you still won’t go see her?”
Jamar sighed dramatically. “We’re working. We don’t have time.”
Then, gripping his stomach, he added, “Plus, my stomach hurts. I need someone to take care of me too–going to the hospital would just be a
hassle.
Joshua pointed at his throat, voice hoarse. “Same. I’m still sick.”
Cain was speechless.
“You two are completely useless.”
Then he turned to Joshua, angry. “You originally joined this show to take care of Sienna! But look at you now–you let her get hurt, and now you’re bullying her too?!”
