Chapter 204
Joshua was furious–Cain had no idea what it was like to be in his shoes.
Getting blamed like this made him feel completely wronged.
But then, an idea struck him.
Not only could he set Cain up, but he could also finally free himself from this mess.
He forced a smile and said, “Alright, if you’re so great at this, then you do it. Compared to you, I admit I’m not as good at taking care of people. This show still has one more season left–why don’t you take my spot?”
He was done with this nonsense.
Not only had he worked himself to the bone, supposedly to take care of Sienna, but she had also set him up.
And on top of that, he had ended up offending Phoebe again.
So what had he gained? Nothing but regrets.
He should’ve never let Leon talk him into this in the first place.
If Cain was so capable, then let him take over next season. Joshua was out.
Jamar’s eyes lit up. “Cain, you can take my place too if you want.”
Cain was speechless. ‘How did this conversation suddenly turn into them handing him their jobs?‘
He shook his head. “I have zero interest in doing variety shows.”
Joshua pushed further. “Neither did I. But I came here for Sienna. We clearly failed at taking care of her–but you won’t. So next season, I’ll give you my spot. I’ll just be a one–season guest. That’s final–I’ll talk to the director tomorrow.”
Cain was annoyed. “Why so rushed?”
Still, the idea was tempting. If he joined the show, he could personally look after Sienna and make sure no one bullied her.
But, looking at Joshua and Jamar’s eager expressions, something felt off.
Joshua played along. “We have to confirm it with the director carly–otherwise, someone else might take the spot. Then you won’t be able to protect
Sienna.”
Cain narrowed his eyes at him. “Are you trying to trick me?”
Joshua rolled his eyes. “What trick? It’s just a show–nothing major. Weren’t you just criticizing me for failing to take care of Sienna? Fine, then you do it. Show us how it’s done.”
Jamar nodded. “Exactly. Cain, show us how to be real big brothers. We could use the lesson.”

He had originally joined for Sienna, yet all he got in return was: getting roasted by the entire internet, losing a bunch of fans, and ruining his relationship with Phoebe.
He had suffered so much, and yet Sienna didn’t even appreciate it.
He was done.
Maybe once they got back home, he could convince Leon or Ollie to take his place instead. Seeing them pressuring him, Cain felt trapped.
But… he had been the one criticizing them, so if he refused, it would make him seem insincere,
And honestly, he did think he could handle things better than they had.
So he nodded at Joshua. “Fine. Ask the director tomorrow if I can take your spot.
Joshua immediately responded, “No problem. I’ll make sure it happens.”
Cain looked at his eager expression and couldn’t shake the feeling that he was being set up.

Then, a thought hit him. “Wait… but Sienna is still injured. Will she even be able to do the next season?”
Joshua froze for a second. In his excitement to dump his problems on Cain, he had completely forgotten about that.
“If they follow the usual schedule, she probably won’t be fully recovered in time.”
Cain immediately said, “Then forget it. If Sienna isn’t on the show, why should I bother?”
Joshua quickly backtracked. “Alright, here’s the deal–if Sienna is in the next season, then you replace me. But if she’s not, then you don’t have to, and I’ll just… check out completely.”
No matter what, he was not coming back to this mess.
If Sienna wasn’t participating, he’d ask the director to replace him with someone else anyway.
Jamar chimed in, “Then I’ll check out too.”
Joshua’s absence meant he’d be left alone to deal with Phoebe–which would be awkward as hell, especially now that he knew Sienna wasn’t as innocent as she pretended to be.
Whenever he saw Phoebe, he couldn’t help but feel guilty.
Joshua completely understood.
He patted Jamar on the shoulder. “We’ll go down together–it’ll at least save us from getting roasted too hard.”
From the moment he joined, he had been slammed online.
Whether it was mocking Quintus and getting proven wrong, or blindly accusing Phoebe, he had dug his own grave.
There was no way he hadn’t lost fans over this.
This whole experience had been a disaster.
Cain nodded. “Fine. If Sienna’s in, I’m in. Otherwise, I don’t care.”
Then he stood up. “Let’s go grab some food. After that, you two can come with me to see Sienna. She’s been crying about wanting to explain things to you guys.
Jamar and Joshua had been all for free food–but at the mention of visiting Sienna, they instantly lost interest.
Jamar clutched his stomach. “Ah, my stomach hurts. I can’t walk. Maybe tomorrow.”
Joshua rubbed his throat. “My throat is killing me–even drinking water hurts. No way I’m eating anything. You go ahead–I’ll see Sienna
tomorrow.”
Cain looked at them suspiciously but ultimately bought the excuse. “Fine. But you better come tomorrow.”
He stood up. “I’ll head back now–I don’t feel comfortable leaving Sienna alone in the hospital.
Jamar wanted to say something sarcastic–after all, Sienna had been alone in the hospital for days now,
Someone like her would never let herself suffer.
and she didn’t seem too miserable.
Joshua thought the same.
He still remembered how he had been too angry to eat, but when he visited Sienna at the hospital, she had been munching on a sandwich like nothing had happened.
But neither of them said anything.
Instead, they played along. “Yeah, yeah, Sienna really needs you right now.”
Cain finally left the room, but just as he was stepping out, Jamar suddenly called out. “Hey, does Dad know you’re here?”
Cain turned back. “Obviously not. If he knew, do you think I’d have made it here? But I texted his secretary and told them I was taking a break for a few days. I’ll check in before he flies home so we can return together.”
Jamar smirked. “Cain, you’re a genius.”
Cain grinned proudly. “I know.

Before leaving, he warned them again. “You better come tomorrow, or Ill personally drag you there.”
Jamar waved lazily. “Yeah, yeah, see you tomorrow.”
Once the door shut, Jamnar immediately turned to Joshua ‘Call Dad. Let’s sell Cain out
Cain left without a second thought.
As soon as the door closed, Jamar turned to Joshua and said, “Call Dad and sell Cain out. If we do that, Dad will definitely send people to look for him tomorrow–and there’s a good chance he’ll take Sienna back to the country too.”
To avoid dealing with those two tomorrow, they had no choice but to throw their brother under the bus.
Joshua gave Jamar a look of pure disbelief. “Jamar, I never realized you were this devious.”
Jamar rolled his eyes. Just answer me–are we selling Cain out or not?”
Joshua didn’t even hesitate. “Of course we are.”
If they didn’t, they’d be stuck dealing with Cain and Sienna, and that was the last thing they wanted.
Without wasting another second, the two of them picked up the phone and called Elliot.
