Joshua and Jamar both agreed, “Exactly, Cain. Right now, you’re the safest one. Plus, Sienna’s already targeted you, so there’s no way she’ll come after you again. Don’t even think about borrowing our emerald talismans.”
Cain’s face darkened. “Are we not even real brothers anymore? Wearing the talisman might bring me better luck and make things smoother.”
Leon stood up. “We could always sever ties, you know.”

He had no intention of taking care of Lydia while being sick. Therefore, he decided to join the team as well. He then looked over at Ollie, who was sitting across from him. “Ollie, taking care of Mom is now your task.”
Lydia constantly scolded them but was always exceptionally kind to Ollie. She often compared them to Ollie, praising him for being so wonderful while belittling them as worthless and unfilial. Since that was the case, they decided to let Ollie take on the responsibility of showing filial piety and caring for her.
The three quickly warmed to the idea. Since Lydia didn’t like them, they decided it would be best for her to focus on her favorite son and spend time with him instead.
“Mom always values Ollie the most. If we go to accompany her, it’ll just make her angry and ruin her mood.”
