Chapter 17
“Yeah, she finishes questions incredibly fast. While I was grading, I gave her a random paper to kill time, and she aced it–full marks. Not a single student in last year’s Olympiad Program managed that.
“No way, she has to join my program. Jagger, have a word with her. She needs to follow.”
“Adrian, watch your tone.”
Jagger shot him a pained look. With the parent and student right there, Adrian was running his mouth without filter, simply embarrassing him.
“Fine, fine. Transfer her to my class, and we’ll sort out the rest later.”
Adrian was convinced he could persuade Rosalie.
Eventually, Rosalie’s class placement was confirmed. She was assigned to Adrian’s homeroom and followed him directly to the classroom.
Karen felt intensely awkward. She recalled Jagger mentioning that Adrian was the homeroom teacher of the Advanced Class… Now she just wanted to flee this awkward scene.
She casually reminded Rosalie to follow the teachers‘ words, then grabbed her bag and hurried out of Hodgeson High.
“Follow me,” Adrian said, glancing at Rosalie.
She paused, uttered an “Okay,” and trailed him silently.
In the Advanced Classroom of 12th Grade. A loud exclamation rang out from outside the classroom, “Holy shit! Adrian’s bringing someone in, looks like a transfer student.”
A transfer student?
Many in the class had seen Phoebe’s mother escort the Spencer family’s adopted daughter for a placement test that morning.
Suddenly, all eyes in the classroom turned to Phoebe.
Tianna strode over to her and blurted out without hesitation, “Phoebe, do you think that country bumpkin made a scene and forced Karen to get her into Advanced Class?”
Phoebe flipped through the book on her desk, paused at the comment, and smiled, “Maybe she scored well on the placement test.”
Tianna scoffed. “Phoebe, don’t kid around. She never went to school in the countryside. So how could she score well?
“I bet Karen was driven crazy by her tantrums and begged the principal to let her into Advanced Class. Ugh, who knows how much money they had to shell out for this.”
The story of the Spencer family’s adopted daughter had spread like wildfire ever since the adoption banquet, with all manner of rumors circulating about Rosalie’s background.
Everyone felt indignant on Phoebe’s behalf.
Someone immediately voiced discontent, “What’s wrong with Adrian? He’s accepting just any student now. Our class average is going to tank.”
The classmate next to them chuckled, “Actually, it’s not all bad. You finally won’t be at the bottom of the rankings.”
A ripple of laughter went through the room.
“Cut it out,” class monitor Connor Kaiser interjected in a stern tone. “This affects our class’s average GPA. If Advanced Class gets dragged down to Basic Class levels, will you still be laughing?”
The jokes abruptly died as everyone exchanged awkward glances.
“Embarrassing as it is, what can we do about it?” someone muttered.
“The Spencer family is rich and powerful. They can pull strings wherever they want. We’re just students; we don’t get a say
“We just need to work together. There’s always a way to get her out of Advanced Class.”
Someone piped up. “Connor, are you taking the lead?”

Chapter 17
“I am.” Connor had barely finished speaking when the bell rang.
Everyone scrambled back to their seats.
Adrian stepped into the classroom right on cue, followed by a tall, slender figure.
Her exquisite features were dominated by a pair of striking, captivating eyes.
The entire classroom fell dead silent.
Though many had heard rumors about the Spencer family’s adopted daughter and held contempt for her.
But the moment they saw her in person, most people could only think one thing, ‘Holy shit, she’s stunning!‘
Adrian placed his teaching plan book on the podium and swept the room with his gaze.
“This is Rosalie Hudson. Starting today, she’s your new classmate. Rosalie, come up and say hello to everyone.”
