Chapter 4
Stella’s expression shifted from confusion to panic as she shouted at Helen outside the door, “What’s wrong with these people? Helen, don’t you care about your daughter’s life anymore?”
However, Helen was nowhere in sight.
After opening the door for Stella, Helen had already gone to meet up with her daughter to prepare for going abroad for treatment.
I looked at Stella calmly and smiled slightly.
“Thank you for bringing the shares and the evidence of you murdering your husband.

“Luckily my lawyer hasn’t left, or he wouldn’t be able to catch the surprise you delivered.”
Steve, who stayed to watch the show, immediately said with a laugh, “Ms. Taylor, I’ll draft the share transfer agreement right away.”
Stella’s eyes widened as she muttered in a daze, “How is this possible? Your vision and hearing are back?”
I stood up and walked toward her step by step.
The bodyguards quickly twisted her hands behind her back.
She glared at me and shrieked, “I only said one sentence! The surveillance in this house was wiped–there’s no way you kept any
evidence!

“The shares are in my hands! A forced agreement won’t hold up…”
I raised my hand and slapped her, cutting her off.
“There’s not only surveillance and phone videos, but also so many witnesses present.
“Guess what–the police get this footage, will they investigate? And will the Jackman family let you go?
“Besides voluntarily transferring the shares, you have no choice!”
She wasn’t smart, but she was good at weighing the pros and cons.
Biting her lip, she thought for a moment, then lifted her chin to negotiate. “Laura, I can give you the shares, and I won’t fight you for Eugene anymore, but you have to give me 400 million dollars, hand over all the evidence, and get someone to send me abroad.”
I laughed.
It wasn’t her turn to make demands, but that didn’t stop me from toying
with her.
“Alright, I’ll give it to you tomorrow. That much money–you’ll have to give me time to prepare, right?
“Relax! I’m not interested in Eugene. I won’t get in your way of becoming the bride. Besides, with money in your hand, whether you leave or stay is your call.
“Four hundred million dollars and the evidence will be in your hands tomorrow, or I’ll send it out right now. You pick.”
Stella gritted her teeth and signed the agreement, then I had someone throw her out the door.

None of the people she brought got to leave with her–how she explained that was up to her.
Steve shook the agreement and came over with a mischievous grin.
“Congrats! You’ve got control over more than half of Jackman Group’s shares now.
“What’s your plan for tomorrow? I don’t believe you’ll really give her the money and evidence.”
I poured two glasses of red wine and raised an eyebrow with a smile. “Revealing the evidence at the wedding still counts as giving it back to her, doesn’t it?
“As for the money, there’s no way she’s getting it. She’ll have to compensate me instead. All the jewelry she took from me was
notarized as my property–if we’re talking theft, you know how that’s calculated.
“As for Eugene… letting him lose the company at his wedding tomorrow isn’t too much, is it?”
