My appearance here with a lawyer was clearly beyond Noah’s expectations.[]
He approached me and lowered his voice:
“Stop making a scene. I’ll treat you well from now on. Can’t we just let this go?“]]
I looked at him and let out a mocking laugh:[]
“Nope. You can break my heart, but stealing my money? That’s where I draw the line.“[]
“When did I ever steal your money?” He was still playing dumb.]
I started counting on my fingers:[]
“You forged my signature and took out a $750,000 loan in my name.” “D
You also illegally transferred assets. This gym is now just an empty shell…”
The veins on Noah’s forehead bulged.
He wanted to hit me.[]
But he held back
“Fine, I admit I shouldn’t have forged your signature. But I owed some money and couldn’t pay it back. The bank wouldn’t give me a loan, so I had to use your identity for online lending.“]
“And as for transferring assets, what’s that got to do with you? This gym isn’t yours anyway.“[]
Olivia smirked from the side, her tone dripping with sarcasm:[]
“You’re so concerned about asset transfers – what, are you some kind of investor?“]
Seeing both of them acting like such snobby assholes, I burst out laughing because when you’re truly speechless, you really do just laugh.]
Elijah spoke up at the right moment:[]
“That’s correct. Ms. Vance is indeed the primary investor in this gym.“]]
Both of them froze at his words.[]
The next second, they burst out laughing.
Olivia couldn’t stop laughing. “Have you lost your mind? You have a little inheritance and now you

the CEO of Vance Enterprises?”
Noah shook his head, looking at me like he wanted to shake some sense into me.]
“That’s right. My last name is the same Vance as Vance Enterprises.” I stared directly at Olivia and Noah
Seeing me like this, Noah felt inexplicably panicked.]
Olivia was about to mock me again when she saw court officials
And several police officers approaching from a distance.
The commotion here had attracted quite a few gym members to watch the show.
The court official pulled out his credentials and court summons, addressing Noah:]
“Mr. Noah Whitaker, you are charged with domestic violence, embezzlement, document forgery, and several other offenses.“[
“This is your court summons. Please appear in court three days from now.”

Noah’s face instantly turned pale, and he didn’t dare take the summons.
“No… that’s impossible! Are you sure you have the right person? I’m innocent!“[]
Olivia was terrified too.
She instinctively stepped back, clutching her belly and shrieking:[]
“You can’t arrest him! He’s the father of my child! Did Charlotte bribe you guys?”[]
Hearing this, the police and court officials looked extremely displeased.[]
A female officer said sternly:[]
“Watch your words, ma’am.“]]
“Also, regarding your malicious distribution of fake videos and defamation charges, we’ve completed our investigation.“]]

The gym members whispered among themselves – what a show they’d witnessed.[]
Noah was now completely panicked and suddenly lunged toward me, trying to grab my hand, but the accompanying officer immediately restrained him.
Noah struggled and screamed:[]
“Charlotte! After all these years together, you’re really going to send me to prison?“]]
I looked at him coldly.]
Noah still wouldn’t give up. He actually tried to threaten and bribe me right in front of the police.[]
“If you drop the charges, I can give you the gym.
I couldn’t stop laughing.
Even at this point, he was still trying to con me.

I didn’t answer him, but instead addressed the court official.]
“I will not forgive him. I demand all his assets be frozen to recover my losses.”
“Why should you? What gives you the right to touch my money? At worst, I’ll pay you back the $750,000.” Noah shouted frantically.
The official scoffed, “$750,000? You’ve got to be kidding. You transferred over $120 million in assets, and you’re offering to pay back $750,000? Is that enough?”
