There was an immediate uproar among the guests, “What does he mean when he says he’s calling off the wedding?”
“What’s he doing?”
“Can he even decide that?”
Seth looked around, and his gaze finally alighted on the Gamers. “Dad, Mom, Ash is still the one I love. The Woods may have helped us, but I won’t go against my own heart. I’ll pay them back the money that we owe them in the future.”
I looked coldly at Seth on the stage, and I started to feel embarrassed on his behalf.
He wasn’t the groom tonight.
How could he say so casually that he would pay back the money in the future when my family had paid ten billion to save the Garners?
Didn’t he realize how ridiculous he sounded?
Not only that, he had embarrassed me in front of so many people for Ashley’s sake, which was a grave mistake.
My father realized what had happened, and his expression turned grim at once. “What do the Garners mean by this?”
