Jameson said seriously, “You didn’t fight with Terrence, right?”
Kyson lowered his eyes, “Grandpa, what happened?”
Jameson finally said, “Terrence’s secretary called and said you
and Terrence had a big fight for some reason. She asked me to
find a way to get you back so you two wouldn’t get into a fight.
Look at you, you’re not a kid anymore. Aren’t you embarrassed
to get into fights?”
“Grandpa!” Kyson was really mad. “How old are you and you
still fall for this stuff? Do you really think I’d just get into a fight
with Terrence that easily?”
He knew it had to be Terrence messing with the company, but
with his grandpa’s health, he couldn’t ignore it.
“You said I got scammed? What exactly happened?”
Jameson looked confused.
“Time was tight, I’ll explain to you after I finish my work.”
After Kyson finished speaking, he hurried out of the hospital.
He still had to go to the company.

Terrence did something. Since he was out, he still had to hurry
up and get someone to take care of it.
The car had just left the hospital when the secretary called.
“Mr. Duarte, it’s fine now.”
“How come it’s suddenly fine?”
Kyson was left totally confused.
“It’s a kind of computer virus, all fake. Our techs hadn’t even
started fixing it, and it was gone.”
Kyson hit the brakes and punched the steering wheel.
I knew it was Terrence’s trick, but they were all really
important things. Still, I fell for it and got sent away by him.

His face tightened, and he quickly hit the gas, heading to
Vespera Villa.
It was pitch dark inside.
Kyson rang the doorbell for a long time before Eliza came to
open the door.

“Hello, Mr. Duarte.”
“What about Terrence?”
Eliza frowned and said, “Mr. McConnell told us all to take a
break. I just came to open the door because I saw you ringing
the bell. I don’t know if they’re in the villa or not.”
Kyson rushed through the gate, walked to the front door of the
villa, and pressed the doorbell inside.
“Mr. Duarte, don’t worry, I’ll get the door.”
Eliza opened the door, then turned on the light. Kyson rushed
- in. The villa was empty.
He didn’t feel comfortable opening the bedroom doors himself,
so it was Eliza who knocked on each room and checked one by
one. In the end, there was no sign of Terrence or Bethany
anywhere in the whole villa.
As for the divorce agreement Terrence wrote, it fell to the
ground.
Kyson couldn’t help clenching his fists. After Terrence sent
them all away, he took Bethany with him.
That feeling of knowing he was being messed with but still

If it was just about the company, he probably wouldn’t have
left.
So Terrence used double insurance, and also went after
Jameson.
That was really sneaky!
Since Terrence went to him through Lucian, he could also go to
Terrence through Lucian.
Kyson got back in the car, called his secretary first and told him
to find out where Terrence went, then called Lucian and told
him to ask Terrence out for drinks at the Ruby Club.
“Why didn’t you make the appointment yourself?”
Lucian was really speechless about those two.
Terrence just asked him out at noon, and in the afternoon
Kyson came to ask too. Did these two guys just treat him like a
tool?
“In a huff, stop nagging, hurry up.”
Lucian called Terrence, but Terrence’s phone was off.
