hospital room and hung up the phone.

Terrence put down his phone.
Kyson came in, put the fruit basket on the nightstand, and set up the flowers. The room was filled with a light, sweet scent of
flowers, and the atmosphere was pretty nice.
He sat down and said, “I know you couldn’t wait to come see me.
Your leg wasn’t good, and I felt bad for you, so I just came
myself.”
Terrence looked at him coldly, “Stab me once, then just bring me
some fruit and flowers? Am I that cheap?”
Kyson touched his nose, then met Terrence’s eyes, “What else do
you want me to do to make it up to you? I already stabbed you.
If it’s not enough, you can stab me once, and we’ll call it even,
how about that?”
For Kyson, stabbing Terrence really did make him feel pretty
guilty.
If he was Bethany’s relative, that stab would make sense.
But he had nothing to do with Bethany.
“Stabbing me once is easy to settle, I’m not in a hurry, I’ll deal
with you later, but Julio wanted to go after my wife, he was
afraid I’d use the Mendez family to hold him back, he even gave

If you guys had any morals, you wouldn’t have had any
thoughts about her. Are there no single women left in this
world?”
“I saw that Julio had feelings for Beth but kept it proper”
Terrence wasn’t mad. “I don’t want to argue with you, it’s
pointless. Anyway, you caused the trouble, you sent her away.
Her personal safety, her marriage, it’s all on you. If she comes
back and anything’s changed, it’s all your fault. You’d better get
your ass to Aranoland now and keep a close eye on her for me.”
“I was just about to go, you cover the ticket for me.”

“It was me who told you to get lost. I’m leaving now. Take care
and get better,” Kyson said, then added, “Get out of the hospital
soon, or you might miss the court date.”
