Bethany went to Terrence’s hospital room, opened the door,
walked up to him, and signed, “You can go.”
Terrence had never been treated so coldly, and no one had ever kicked him out before he decided to leave.
Bethany was the first person.
A self–mocking smile rose up from the bottom of my heart.
The dark eyes locked on Bethany’s face, “That thing was my fault. Didn’t you see any of the guilt and apology I showed after? We’ve been married seven years. Besides that, when have I ever let you down? Don’t you think you’ve been a bit much lately?”
It was all said out of anger. After saying it, the anger in my heart

Even Bethany was so shocked that the corners of her mouth curled up in a cold smile.
He actually pushed the blame onto her.
According to what he said, those girls who got hurt, was it all because they were pretty and easy to bully?
Wasn’t it the abuser who ignored the law? Ignored the moral and ethical rules of this society?
How did he even have the nerve to say that, besides that thing,
he had done anything else to let her down?
They were all annoying things to say.
Bethany didn’t want to waste her emotions on these things anymore, her time was running out, and she still needed to go get her body checked as soon as possible.
Last time her doctor talked to her, he told her to keep a good mood. The liver problem had a lot to do with a person’s emotions.

She shrugged helplessly, “Fine, it’s all my fault, you did nothing wrong, what you said makes sense, can you leave now?”
Terrence still didn’t move at all, showing no intention of leaving.
“I didn’t come here to argue with you, Beth. Let’s not waste time. Let’s get to the point and I’ll leave when we’re done.“”
Bethany just thought it was funny.

Krista just came over wanting to talk to her, and Terrence came too.
She didn’t want to know anything anymore.
“What do you want to talk about? Go talk to my lawyer. From
now on, except for divorce, I didn’t want to talk to you about anything.”
Bethany’s gesture made him feel hopeless.
Terrence felt like he was really about to get pissed off, he had put up with enough.
Bethany really drove him crazy.
It seemed like you couldn’t see at all that he was hurt, and he totally didn’t care.
He pressed his thin lips together, and his dark eyes were like ink.
Bethany picked up the bag by the door, slung it over her shoulder, and walked out without even looking at Terrence.
He wouldn’t leave, then she would!
After getting into the elevator, Bethany looked even more expressionless.

She once thought she couldn’t live without him in this life.
But the repeated pain and suffocation, the endless disappointment again and again, could wear out all the deep love she thought she had.
Terrence was even more annoyed.
I couldn’t help but think of Kyson. If Kyson hadn’t insisted on getting involved in this, he wouldn’t be stuck in bed now, unable to even stop Bethany from leaving.
He sent Kyson a message.
“Come to Bethany’s apartment.”
