Chapter32
After a while, Bethany was pushed out of the emergency room,
and Eliza hurriedly approached.
“Mrs. McConnell, how are you?”
Bethany saw Eliza standing outside and smiled. She took out her
phone and wrote a line, “Eliza, I’m fine, don’t worry.”
Bethany’s drip was not finished yet, and the nurse pushed her
into the ward.
Eliza sat at the bedside and said with concern, “I went out to buy
you breakfast.”
Bethany nodded.
Eliza walked out of the ward.
First aid for external injuries is on the second floor.
Terrence stood on the balcony and made a phone call to Krista
to request a blood source.
He accidentally saw Eliza walk out of this building.
His eyes darkened for a moment, then quickly returned to
Chapter32
normal.
Continued to call him.
When Bethany’s bottle of drip was almost finished, she pressed
the service button.
The nurse came in and changed her medicine before leaving,
and her phone rang.
It was a call from Julio.
Bethany remembered the promise she made to Julio yesterday.
Julio’s father, in order to develop the domestic market, the
whole family returned to the country together.
Their new villa was decorated in western style. Julio’s mother,
Presley Ochoa, always felt that something was missing. Later,
she remembered that they lacked some window decorations.
I found many people, but none of them cut it nicely. Then I
thought of Bethany’s grandmother, inquired and found out that she had already passed away.
Others recommended Bethany, saying that her skills had
inherited her grandmother’s true teachings.
This is also the reason Julio said he came to find her.
Chapter32
Grandmother wanted her to pass on her skills, and besides, she also knew Julio’s mother, so she naturally agreed to do the job.
Bethany hung up the phone, checked the time on her cellphone, glanced at the bottle of potion, estimated a time, and then sent a
message to Julio.
“I probably left around ten o’clock.””
“Okay, do you need me to pick you up?”
“No, I was already in Rivermond.”
Julio looked at the message on his phone and furrowed his
brow.
Last night, when he got back home and was scrolling through
his phone, he saw that the McConnell Group had announced
Bethany and Terrence’s marriage certificate.
Actually, he had already felt it.
He couldn’t reach Bethany, and it has been seven years until
now.
The reason why Bethany went back to her hometown was
probably because of Terrence and that woman. However,
yesterday Terrence told the media that the woman was his
Chapter32
aunt.
Bethany also returned to Rivermond, and they should have
reconciled.
Julio moved his fingertips and typed a few words.
“Okay, I waited for you.”
Bethany put away her phone, and she heard someone opening
the hospital room door, thinking it was Eliza who had returned.
She lifted her head and saw Terrence’s cold and stern face.
Terrence stepped forward and coldly looked down at Bethany.
“Don’t think that I won’t hold you accountable just because you
pretend to be sick!”
Bethany furrowed her brows, with one hand hooked up to an
IV drip. Instead of using sign language, she typed out her words
on her phone.
“I didn’t know what you were talking about.”
What responsibilities did she have?
She did nothing.
Chapter32
“When we got the certificate back then, didn’t we agree to keep
it a secret? I thought we had always reached a consensus, so
why announce the marriage certificate at this particular time,
hmm?”
Reached a consensus?
Bethany almost burst out laughing.
Which woman, who married the man she loved, wouldn’t want
others to know?
It was clearly him who unilaterally announced that he wanted
to have a secret marriage.
She wrote on her phone, “When I left the hospital in the
morning, I had already explained and promised you that I would not easily go against it. Don’t just pour all the blame on
me.”
“Are you the kind of person who doesn’t shed a tear until they
see the coffin? I checked the surveillance footage, and a couple
of days ago, Randy came to Vespera Villa, I also asked the
servants, and they confirmed that you were at home that day.”
Bethany still didn’t understand what Terrence was saying.
She quickly typed out a line of words for Terrence to see.

“I said that I didn’t disclose the marriage certificate.””
Terrence was also too lazy to explain to her again, and coldly
said, “If anything happens to Krista this time, I…”
The harsh words were on his lips, but he swallowed them back.
The eyes glared at Bethany like sharp blades.
And then he slammed the door and left.
Bethany was confused.
She did not announce her marriage, nor did she provoke Krista.
Why did Terrence blame all of this on her?
